Coneflower has been on my list to try for months and I finally decided to go. Watch out for lots of construction on Farnam and all around this location. It is a chore just to get there due to lane closures, etc.
That said, the ice cream is delicious — albeit somewhat overpriced, especially if you don’t really care about gluten-free and vegan options. When eating ice cream, why do we need to worry about semi-healthy options?
I ordered the Scarecrow Sundae and shared it with my wife. Great combination of flavors. But I’ve had better sundaes elsewhere…

My favorite was the spiced chocolate candied orange flavor, and it was delicious! I also got a brown butter, and a toffee flavor. All of them were tasty, and had great texture! My husband got cookies and cream with hot fudge! When we come back to NE we will definitely be pulling up! I am glad this business is friendly to those who have dietary restrictions such as vegan, and gluten free! I felt the price was very appropriate for the quality of ingredients. If you’re looking for a cheap ice cream, you get what you pay for. This is NOT a cheap microplastic filled-once was in a bag on a truck- sent from a questionable factory ice cream. This is very clearly made in the house ice cream, cones and sprinkles hosting unique and bold flavors. I highly recommend!

I recently visited Coneflower Creamery and tried their roasted pistachio and hazelnut ice cream flavors. Unfortunately, both tasted pretty basic and didn’t stand out in any special way. Given the high Google Maps rating, I was expecting something more memorable—maybe the other flavors are better, but I’m not sure.

The shop itself is quite small with no real space for sitting, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated.

Overall, I’d give the experience around 2.5 to 3 out of 5.

It’s my first time trying coneflower ice cream. I absolutely loved it. The ice cream was sooo rich in flavor unlike others. They definitely have better flavors. I got the coconut flavor ice cream and it was sooo creamy and so rich. The server was kind and she gave me samples of few ice cream I was interested in.

Ice cream is absolutely delicious! The service is wonderful, very friendly staff and helpful. This ice cream shop is very small but cute and has a great charming ambiance. The waffle cone is amazing, the best I’ve ever had.

Greetings from Indiana! We were in Omaha for a robotics competition and had the pleasure of visiting Coneflower Creamery—thanks to a local artist at Hot Shops who highly recommended it.

Having traveled far and wide—from Asia to California to New York and many places in between—I can confidently say Coneflower serves the best ice cream we’ve ever had. Their meticulous attention to flavor and quality truly sets them apart.

During our visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Brian, who I later found out is the owner. With his signature handlebar mustache, he was humble, welcoming, and made our experience all the more memorable. He even graciously posed for a photo when I asked!

The next day, we stopped by their Millwork location, where all the ice cream magic happens. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my son’s food allergies, even preparing fresh batches just for him. Their thoughtful care meant the world to us.

We also loved the decor and the unique viewing area where you can see the “ice cream lab” in action. Everything about the experience was so delightful, we couldn’t leave without picking up a T-shirt (the yellow one with the cone and flowers—of course!).

We’ll definitely be back!

10/10 and definitely the best ice cream in all of Omaha. The quality of ingredients could not be more incredible and the staff is absolutely amazing! The inside is so cute and cozy (with very limited seating). If you are going on the weekend, be prepared to wait in a very long line – I promise, it will be so worth it!

Coneflower Creamery did not disappoint! The ice cream is delicious and there are lot of unique flavors. The hardest part is deciding which ones to get! We loved the sweet corn, tart cherry crumble and butter brickle!

Ice cream was so delicious! High expectations were totally met, especially the coffee flavor. Hands down the best coffee ice cream I’ve ever gotten — it was like having freshly espresso right I’m in front of my face!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Deservedly #1
It’s no surprise Coneflower is ranked #1 by Yelp and highly praised by just about everyone else—it never disappoints. Today’s lineup was pure ice cream bliss: cinnamon-something deliciousness (still dreaming about it), banana Nutella something, birthday cake, and cherry crumble tart. One flavor was better than the next. Rich, creative, and always on point. Hats off to the team—thank you for consistently delivering scoop after scoop of joy.
