Came here for lunch after spending the morning touring the local bays and beaches. I had the burger with the lot and my partner had the beef schnitzel with mushroom gravy. Both meals absolutely delicious, generously-sized, plenty of flavour and just what we needed to fuel our afternoon activities.

$22 for this paper thin Maccas hamburger patty, hidden beneath salad. I had read reviews stating they’re generous with their portion sizes and for the shocking prices, higher than anywhere on the Nullarbor, I anticipated a good feed but this is just a blatant ripoff. You can’t even taste the beef on a BURGER. It just tastes like lettuce on bread. This is the worst burger I’ve had in the country of over a hundred pubs. I would pass on this place. I also bought a fly veil that is falsely advertised, looks nothing like the cover, doesn’t fit over a brimmed hat as shown. This place screams “I don’t care about you, just my bottom dollar” and I’m surprised the locals put up with it.

Unexpected gem. We had the beef and reef and the cheesecake for dessert. It wasn’t cheap but my goodness it was delicious. Great quality ingredients, really well cooked and good sized portions. Recommended – just wish we lived closer – will absolutely be back.

We had a very pleasant experience at this tavern. The food was delicious, and the service was great. We were in the beer garden with our small dog, and the atmosphere was relaxing with soft music. Would definitely recommend giving it a go.

This was the worst food we’ve ever had. We had the hamburger and nachos. The beef patty was thinner than a patty at McDonalds and did not taste good, definitely not like beef. And the nachos were so soggy we couldn’t even eat it.

Another lovely meal yet again. Didn’t manage to get in for their beautiful scones. It’s a must if you’re down there. Will have to wait until next Feb! Meals are huge and really nice.
