I’ve been coming to Condesa for years, and the food and service have always been consistently great. It’s one of my go-to spots because I enjoy the atmosphere and the quality of the meals.
Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, the service fell short of what I’ve come to expect. Our waitress (Erika G.) wasn’t particularly friendly and only checked on our table once. Even then, she didn’t make eye contact with me while I was ordering—it felt like she couldn’t be bothered. It was disappointing, especially given the usually high standards of this place.
That said, the food was still excellent. I had the chicken fajitas, which were flavorful and well-seasoned. I also ordered a passion fruit margarita, and it was refreshing and perfectly balanced.
I still enjoy coming here and will likely return, but I do hope the staff receives more training in customer service to ensure every visit feels as welcoming as it should.

Ordered Take out during the busy holiday season . Order was picked up by me not Uber! Got home ordered was missing 2 dishes . I called your restraunt he explained he ran out of them an will issue a refund geez shouldn’t you have called me or offered a substitution would you even have offered a refund if I had not called. Refund was also delayed cause of holidays. Never ordered again disappointing

We just had dinner at Condesa Restaurant Mexicano, and it was awesome. The whole experience from start to finish was worthy of five stars. Korina was our server and she was so personable and accommodating. When we learned that it was just her second day, we were rendered speechless. She’s such a pro! What a great experience. We’re hoping to return soon. If you plan to visit Condesa on the weekend, be sure to ask for Korina.

I fell in love with Condesa at the beginning of this year and showed my face there multiple times once I discovered it. Out of this world Mexican, delicious drinks and chips and salsa. Fast forward to recently and I haven’t been in a while. The menu changed and the chips taste like bagged chips from the grocery store. She shrimp tacos, formerly outstanding, used to have this divine sauce on it. It was so special and delicious. It now has gloppy aioli. It does not work and truly ruined the dish. The insanely delicious pink margarita I once had is gone. I’m so sad! This place was top notch before. Why get rid of that delicious shrimp taco 🙁

Excited to see they had a second location in Smithfield in addition to their West Warwick location.
Food here is excellent. You’ll be hard pressed to find better Mexican in the state. Drinks are also very good with tons of creative options.
Major complaint with the service. Restaurant wasn’t even half full but service was incredibly slow. Took forever to get chips and salsa, as well as drinks. The food did arrive quickly which was nice. Had to ask multiple times for a second serving of salsa for the remaining chips, as they do serve a big portion of chips, but never got it. Instead they just took the chips and salsa away.
Could easily be 4 stars, borderline 5 with improved service.

It’s an exciting time looking for a new place to attend regularly for a specific type of food or, in this case, a specific dish! My wife loves mole sauce, and we had a recommendation to try out Condesa’s. They serve the enchiladas with mole sauce, and she was thrilled! Outstanding for her on all levels! I had the Texana Fajitas, and the only thing to exceed this dish was the exceptional service! Outstanding hostess, wait, and kitchen staff proves out great management! Strongly recommended!
