I recently dined at Condesa in Rittenhouse Square to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Philly. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was vibrant yet sophisticated—beautiful decor inspired by Mexico City, with that perfect mix of energy and comfort in the heart of the city.
The food was outstanding. We started with the fresh guacamole and house-made salsas, which were bursting with flavor, then moved on to tacos featuring their incredible heirloom corn tortillas (they mill it themselves—such attention to detail!). The carnitas were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the cocktails (especially the mezcal-based ones) were creative and spot-on. Everything felt elevated without being pretentious—true modern Mexican done right.
But what really made the night unforgettable was the service. The entire staff was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They checked in at just the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The team clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction.
A huge shoutout to Emily who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. She personally made sure every dish came out perfectly timed, suggested pairings that were spot-on, and even swung by multiple times to check if everything was to our liking, with such genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Her care turned a great meal into something memorable and special. Servers like Emily are rare, and she made us feel like VIPs.
If you’re looking for delicious food in a lively atmosphere with top-tier hospitality, Condesa is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back—thank you to Emily and the whole team for making our evening so wonderful!
Highly recommend! ✨

Went on a first date during Restaurant Week. The service is impeccable—friendly staff, highly attentive to detail, and frequent check-ins. The host made our day with positive start. The food was all amazing. The Cesar salad was surprisingly our favorite dish. Looking forward to going back.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Mexican restaurant!
From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
We ordered Papas a la Mexicana, Brisket Tacos, Pescado Frito Tacos, and Pollo Asado, and every single dish was full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. The highlight at the end was the chocolate meringue dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to our meal.
The service was outstanding — our server knew the menu very well and answered all of our questions with confidence and kindness. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of.
The pricing was very fair considering the quality and portion sizes. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, excellent service, and a wonderful dining environment.
We will definitely be back!

Third time I have been to Condesa and it’s just spot on! The place is so beautiful full of plants and beautiful rustic and elegant decor.
The happy hour is trully great. Delicious margaritas for $9, I love the one with mescal.
Happy hours delicious foods for $7. The tamales are just delicious, the elote was so good we had twice, the guacamole is perfect. Tacos were also delicious. I will definitely come back for more

Top notch restaurant in the lobby level of Motto Hotel! Amazing happy hour with perfect elite and crispy wings, Mezcal and Classic margaritas on tap too! Service wise, any bartender that comes back around right before happy hours ends offering a happy hour last call has a CLEAR sense of providing a high end customer experience!!!

Great spot for date night or a group dinner, tacos & margs are perfection. Get the mushroom birria to share with the table! Most of the menu is naturally GF too.

We came to try out restaurant week and while they don’t offer the RW menu over the weekends, the food and service still makes this place totally worth the visit! I ordered the Tina tostadas (deliciously fresh and tasty) the cantarito for 2 (refreshing and so cute with the two straws), the mezcal margarita (smoky and very drinkable) the swordfish à la Veracruzana (loved the sauce, did not care for the fish) which they then swapped for a different item on the menu: the Mushroom Birria, which was outstanding and probably the main event! The service is so good, the management is excellent and the vibes are sexy dinner date

My friends and I had a group dinner to celebrate our graduation and I’d say it was an amazing experience! However, even with our reservation we were still seated late probably because it was Cinco de Mayo. Steven, the manager was very helpful with organizing the check, ensuring we were all fine and the waiters were patient considering we were a large group! It was my third time here and they didn’t disappoint, 10/10

I’m honestly obsessed with Condesa. The vibes are just immaculate, it’s the kind of spot you walk into and immediately feel good. The food never misses, and even their breakfast is out-of-this-world delicious. It’s one of those places I could eat at every single day and not get tired of. Definitely a Philly favorite for me.

The food was phenomenal, and so was the interior design. It’s rare that I walk into a restaurant and feel the presence of the architect. Other reviews mentioned the plants, but did you know that every flower pot is unique! I went alone and instead of looking at my phone, I spent all my time appreciating all the interesting little trinkets. Annnd the waitress was humming along with the song, so that proves they treat their workers decently. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
