Best octopus I’ve ever had. Simple old school French-Portuguese cooking, done very well. Calm vibe, not as hectic as the other tourist traps on this side street. I eat here every time I come to Lisbon. Good sun spot if you sit at the far wall outside, but plenty of umbrella cover if you prefer the shade.

Found this place browsing Google, stayed at the Hyatt Regency nearby. Quiet and intimate indoor space, very attentive and helpful staff. Menus in multiple languages, easy to order and understand.

Food was great! We ordered three entrees for two people. Octopus risotto, squid ink pasta with cod and grilled sardines. Each had great flavor of Portuguese cuisine with an accent of French. If you are sensitive to bones, there will be some in the cod and sardines! But overall great place for dinner!

The restaurant, located next to a park, offers a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere. It serves delicious dishes that blend French and Portuguese cuisine. The staff is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable.

The service was good, however the food wasn’t. I ordered Caesar salad and some grilled fish with vegetables. The salad was OK, although the sauce tasted more like teriyaki sauce and not like a proper Caesar salad sauce. But the special dish, which was grilled fish and vegetables, was soaking in oil, and the fish tasted terrible. Sorry, but the prices are terribly high for such an experience.
In general feels more like a tourist trap.

We had the mulled wine, cod linguine, octopus risotto, and onion soup, and everything was absolutely delicious! Eating outdoors was such a vibe with a great atmosphere. The staff were also incredibly friendly and kind.

I came here, because of positive reviews.

We had grilled cod, cod crumble, and grilled sardines.

I recommend all of the dishes.

Also, green wine and sangria go well with the dishes.

In this location you definitely want to visit the place rather than the other ones. They have excellent tasting food with great multilingual service. Worth the price for sure.

We had a truly delicious lunch here. The sardine dish was amazing, and the octopus risotto was perfect. While the meal was excellent, be prepared for prices that are on the higher side.

Stumbled upon Comptoir Parisian (French/Portuguese fusion cuisine) when we were visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised by their food and service. We came around 1:30pm, as hot as it can get in the middle of the summer so we decided to wait for a table to be seated inside. We waited about 5-10mins and were often updated with the wait time.

We ordered 2 kids meal, chicken strips and fries in which my kids devoured them in no time, and also 2 fish soups, 1 salad and 2 entrees for 4 adults to share (as it was too hot and we weren’t very hungry). The fish soup was delectable. It was rich in flavor but not overly creamy or heavy. Bouillabaisse is indeed one of my favorite and a must get while I’m in France. For their nicoise salad, the veggies were fresh and crisp, with just the right amount of olive oil and balsamic glaze on top.

For entrees, we ordered the sea bass with ratatouille and rice. I was expecting nicely lined vegetables which don’t happen but the sea bass was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, moist and tender meat that just flakes apart easily. My kids ended up stealing most of our fish. The ratatouille was very flavorful, perfect to be eaten with rice. The cod was one of their specials for the day and it was also perfectly cooked: moist and tender.

Their service was very quick and attentive. Some people may not like it being too quick and specially in Europe but we like it especially when we didn’t want to spend too much time eating and more time for sightseeing. The only complaint is the AC is a little weak but this is common in most of the places in Europe.

Overall, food is excellent with superb service. Price was a little higher than other restaurants in Lisbon but it is expected given its location. We enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it to anyone to enjoyed French cuisine.
