I’m not a local. Was really impressed with the food & service!
As the pictures show, I enjoyed the chips, salsa & white sauce that had just the right heat kick. Main dinner was fajita quesadilla Texanas & delicious! I enjoy Pacifico beer with a lime to compliment this type of meal myself, but of course, compliment yours how you wish.
Gracious host, waiter was attentive & the cashier pleasant.
Only downside was I would’ve preferred to sit at the bar since I was dining alone, but it was being worked on, perhaps updated.

*Two of us ate here, two of us got really sick after and stayed sick for a couple of days. It was terrible
*It is not a clean restaurant. Expecially the restrooms.
It was dirty and only one sink worked and the water bearly came out. It was hard to rinse the sticky soap of in little cold water.
We will never return to eat here.

I normally give compadres 5 stars, as this is usually a 5 star restaurant, but this time my family came over from England and we were expecting a big show with the sizzling fajita platter.and mentioned that to the waitress.and then when it came it was on a regular plate, no sizzling platter and that said that’s how lunch portion size came. if we’d been told we would have ordered the dinner size. food was not as good this time in. siler city sadly. Okay big improvement… We went to tonight April 6th to Siler City compadres. The food was perfect, I had street tacos carnitas. Delicious. Still great food on may 9 – at the street tacos carnitas again. Delicious.

We have been to Compadres multiple times and enjoyed it. Yesterday we went and the food was not good at all. It has been good in the past but when we made them aware they didn’t seem to care much. I don’t like to leave negative comments but it wasn’t a good experience compared to other times.

I have ate Mexican food in a dozen states. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu is huge. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the customer service is excellent. These are just two of the fabulous desserts.

I do not like to post negative reviews. I had lunch with friends here. Chips were dark brown, overcooked and cold. We requested fresh but got the same thing. Food was super oily, I asked for no oil. Overall I cannot recommend or revisit. Sorry
