Reviews
Edit 7/3/25:
Dripping review back down after another disappointing experience. Food was not comparable to other location and they wouldn’t switch out my tomatoes on my bacon BLT to fried green tomatoes. Brad was not toasted on both sides and bacon undercooked- Very little crunch. The fries (one of the easiest things to cook) were hard and undercooked. We brought family who had never been and I felt embarrassed I suggested the place.
The food was generally quite good. The star of the show, the ribs, had a great smoky flavor. The other meats, including the pulled pork and ribs, were juicy and flavorful, making up for the brisket’s dryness. The sides were also noteworthy, especially the mac and cheese, which was creamy and delicious.
Service was a bit slow, which was a minor downside, but the staff was friendly and attentive once they got to our table. It seemed like they were a bit unmotivated during my visit, which might have contributed to the delay.
In summary, Como Smoke and Fire is a pretty good BBQ spot. While the brisket could use a bit more moisture and the service could be faster, the overall quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere make it a place worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings.
He absolutely LOVES the burnt ends and wings. His second favorite is the Bacon and Blue Burger.
I usually get the turkey and it’s always smoked properly and never dry.
Another over if my favorites are the Pulled Pork Egg rolls. Yummy!
For takeout on our first visit, I ordered the Cuban. It had great flavor, though it was a little dry for my personal taste—I added some extra sauce at home, which did the trick. On my second and third visits, I tried The Karen, and it was excellent both times. But honestly, that fried okra with sauce? Chef’s kiss
Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort food done right!
