Eat where the locals do! Great country diner with nice healthy food options at a very affordable price.
I had the TURKEY & BRIE $14 sandwich.
Text from menu; Cane brined house roasted turkey breast, creamy brie cheese, avocado, bacon, mixed greens tossed in sensation dressing and creole mayo on multigrain bread served with our house made chips.

Community Grocery catered my daughter’s wedding on 1/10/26 and did a beautiful job! The food was delicious and they were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. If you are looking for a great caterer around the Woodville area this is the place! Extra thanks to Whitney for making this mom’s life easier during a stressful time!

A wonderful place to dine. A simple atmosphere with excellent service. The food and preparation of it, are chef quality. I believe the cost is reasonable for the kind of service and excellent food you get. By the way, the place is clean! Ms. Helen and her team do a fantastic service.

Food was very well prepared, although it would be great to see more original dishes on the menu in addition to the southern standards. Server was very sweet and nice, but could have been a bit better informed about the dishes they were serving. Seems she was new, so maybe just learning.
The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous – the perfect combination of casual and classy.
Would definitely go back if I am in the Woodville area again. Hopefully they will add some interesting menu items.

My husband and I met a friend who grew up in Woodville for lunch last week at Community Grocery. It’s a charming space on the town square, rooted in history. The food was outstanding and the staff was so accommodating! It was an early birthday celebration and we all enjoyed our lunch of BLT with pimento cheese, club sandwiches and the daily special (hamburger steak with mushroom gravy). We all thought our experience was worth the drive from New Orleans!

Just finished dinner, and the whole experience was just right. The pork chop was incredible, and the cocktails poured at the bar were enjoyable. I hear dessert is also amazing, but we were so full we didn’t partake.
Definitely pop in and have a bite. Lunch and dinner, Thu-Sat

The Community Grocery is a locally owned restaurant in a historical atmosphere of a rural and agrarian southern county seat. Whitney Seal is the proprietor and operator and she is a wonderful lady who runs a clean and friendly establishment. The food is delicious, well balanced, and moderately sized portions. The lunch specials are wide, varied, and change weekly. The dinners are wonderful too, but a bit limited in variety. Personally, I found the ribeye steak to be the most delicious item on the menu so far. The desserts are well balanced and the serving sizes are ample.
