One thing we really appreciated is that the restaurant is very vegetarian-friendly — my girlfriend had plenty of great options to choose from. But the best part of the night was the duo of bartenders. They were attentive, personable, and really elevated the whole experience. Great food, great vibes, and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back.
We had Oysters Rockefeller and the scallops as apps – both excellent. But the showstopper was the Short Rib Hot Plate that we shared for dinner. Fried cornbread? Say no more.
I wish I’d have taken photos of everything, but I was too busy enjoying it all.
Fantastic service, delicious food, properly poured drinks, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Reservation for the tasting menu (and a birthday) put us on the small 2nd floor area. Definitely a fun changeup compared to being at the bar area as we’ve done before. Also a personalized happy birthday note which was a pleasant touch.
Celebrating the birthday was low key, which was nice. Jared and the team made sure everything went smooth for us. No concerns with keeping water filled, drinks available and food on its way.
Tasting menu had some good options for vegetarians and this definitely is a plus for us to visit again.
They did swap out the espresso panna cotta for a pumpkin spice one (probably for how late it was), but solid choice and spices.
Ended the dinner with some sparkling wine.
Will definitely visit again.
I had the Brisket, Eggs & Gouda Grits and our friends had different dishes – I also tried the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were perfectly balanced, fresh and hot. The chicken and waffles probably could have easily fed 2 hungry people!
The oysters were spot on and reasonable- give them a try!!
We started with the Oyster Rockefeller, which was perfectly prepared. For mains, the Potato Gnocchi was light and pillowy, and the Seafood Fra Diavolo had a wonderful kick. The standout for creativity was definitely the Pineapple Situation with Mahi Mahi – the presentation was stunning and the flavors were incredibly fresh.
One thing we really appreciated was the atmosphere – even though the place was packed with people, it wasn’t noisy, and we could actually hold a conversation without raising our voices.
If you are a Bourbon fan, their selection is really good. Highly recommend for a dinner, where you want everything to be spot on!
Thanks!
