The food is oh so delicious! The menu offers something for everyone, I went with Grits and greens and I haven’t had grits before but the combo flavors in the meal wow, loved every bite! It was scrumptious to say the least. Another plus was our waitress, it was refreshing to have someone who was so upbeat, I recall her remark as she placed our food down “ looks good guys” her excitement made the experience so much better. Thanks Alanna! The atmosphere is upscale but casual. Great place for family, kid friendly, likewise would make a great date night too! We loved our experience, we think you will too!

My husband enjoyed the oyster happy hour selections. He had the pineapple situation for dinner and it was amazing! Truly a unique menu item and I sampled it as well. I had the ravioli and scampi which was delicious. Highly recommend!

My friend and I are on a girls trip and visited here for dinner this evening. The service was great from beginning to end. We made a reservation, but they let us go to our table an hour early since we were ready. Our server, Jelly, was so friendly, sweet, and attentive. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and beautifully decorated. I ate the salmon gastro plate. I would highly recommend and would order again. There was so much flavor, all of which blended so well together. Very high quality meal. I will definitely come back when I’m in Savannah again!

Really nice decor and has an upstairs loft as well, nice bar scene and trendy vibe. Servers are very friendly, attentive and gave good advice about the menu. The oysters are amazing….go for the bacon bourbon or caprese you will be transformed….scallops are large and well seasoned. The best dish was the Short Rib, savory on top of greensand am amazing sweet corn bread, but this you can share cause it is filling for sure. The ravioli with scallops is also good. The chicken is not exactly when you expect, very cheesy and has more of a curry tomato flavor but again large portions so you can also share this dish. Overall great experience, would definitely return to try some other items, just make sure you come hungry

Food was absolutely amazing and easily Michelin star quality. They cut my steak short of 8oz and without me even saying anything, the chef delivered the undersized portion owning the mistake and telling me to enjoy it while they fired another appropriately sized steak. Both steaks and the sides were cooked to perfection and seasoned properly.

Outstanding in every way! Highly recommend the James River Oysters, Seared Scallops and Ravioli, and the pasta dish with lamb. Wish I was in town longer so I could visit again for another meal…It was that good!! Nikki, our server, was top notch. Amazing and extensive wine list.

We were visiting Savannah and decided to try the Common restaurant thanks to the great reviews it has. We came at 3 pm to enjoy their happy hour menu without knowing that that was the only menu they had until 5 pm when they offer dinner.

Had a wonderful brunch at the COMMON….the gravy that goes with the loaded fries is wonderful take a poutine. And the chicken and waffle was just as delicious. Now my wife is a salad wiz and she loves the salad with all its unique toppings… as you can tell my pictures are after I started eating. Looked so good I forgot to take a picture. LOL!

Last week we went on a family trip and made a stop in Savannah, Georgia. It was almost 5:00 pm and we were starving ( didn’t know most of the restaurants are closed before that time), anyway we were craving oysters ( which is what Savannah is known for) and decided to try a place called Common. I have to say it… Hands down to the best, so fresh and delicious oysters we have ever tried!! And at the price, you won’t believe it!! $0.75 per oyster ( happy hour).
