If you came in on 1/11/2026, I was that annoying bride taking up half the dining room with her friends and family after just getting married. We quite literally had just walked off a mountain into this coffee shop. We might have been too loud for 8 in the morning in a Sunday, and we might have stayed a little too long, but we weren’t made to feel like that whatsoever. The staff was so friendly and fast, and the vibe here is exactly what you would want from a coffee shop in Payson, AZ. It’s cozy, warm, and the food/drinks were absolutely delicious. All of my friends and family were raving about it. Your hospitality and service was so appreciated and loved. Common grounds, you will forever be apart of our special day and I could not have picked a better spot for hot drinks and a bite to eat. It’s a hidden gem, off the beaten path, but so so worth the parking hassle. I would recommend walking to the shop if you can, parking is limited.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! The staff is like family and they always go above and beyond with the drinks. Today we got a latte that was just as tasty as the art was pretty. And a new concoction – a mango blackberry Italian soda with a vanilla soft top.

Cool spot to sit and have a coffee. Bagels and pastries are nice and fresh and the hazelnut latte is very good. They have outdoor seating if it’s too crowded inside. Will definitely be back.

Hands down the best bagel I’ve ever had!! So soft, chewy, crisp on the edges, it was a delightful snack after my hike! I loved their Georgia Latte & outdoor seating as well. Great spot!

We love Common Grounds! The Local Bee latte is incredible, as are the baked goods which are all locally made. The staff are very attentive and also patient and kind with my toddler, which always means to much to me. The space is very comfortable as well- great spaces for working, a small couch area for meeting friends, and the patio is lovely! Lots of tables, and options in and out of the shade out there. The best coffee shop in Payson, and a wonderful asset to our community. Big shoutout to Kyla and Tom, the managers, for their leadership!

Lovely little café! I visited at 7am on a Sunday. Just my party, so it was very peaceful. Good muffins and quiche. My drink was suggested by the girl working and was perfect! She was very nice. Would definitely go back.

Pretty decent vibe for Payson and I would always support a place like this over Starbucks. I wish my latte was a little bit stronger and less watered down, but overall not bad. We did try some pumpkin type of treat and it was very good.

Such a fun find! Cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff and amazing coffee! Their mogollon mocha latte and local bee latte are SO good! If you are in Payson, this is a must stop.

I love this little coffee shop! I had the Local Bee Latte, my girlfriend Black and White Mocha, and they were both so delicious! 10/10! I love the atmosphere and how you can buy a mug to keep at the shop until you come back. Don’t forget to bring some cash to pick up some tasty jams and honey from Boyd’s farm stand.

We were just passing through on our road trip and decided to stop here for coffee. The young lady who greeted us was very sweet and helpful in picking out our coffee. It was made by her very quickly and delicious! My husband had a coconut mocha that tasted like Mounds candy bar and I got a homemade blend of blackberry and lavender. We both enjoyed them very much! The atmosphere was super laid back and cozy. Definitely a local spot. We would recommend it and go back if we’re ever nearby again!
