Such a gem!! I’m from up north (Bothell area) and rarely come all the way down here, wasn’t sure where to go and saw this as I was driving by. I came in and got a pistachio matcha that was SO good and the cashier at the register genuinely made my day brighter because she was so nice and helpful! You can tell they love providing the community with delicious coffee and treats here. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!!

Came across this cute, cozy little spot while walking around in Renton! The barista and cashier working were friendly and welcoming. The drinks came out fast and were yummy. The pastries here were awesome – the banana bread, and cupcake were moist and perfect amount of sweet. The cafe js a cozy place to hangout and a good environment. I will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area!

The staff is really friendly and social when ive gone in! Fair pricing and solid breakfast options. More homey than the other coffee shop on this street, I see a lot of people like to stay for their drink/snack or work from a laptop. Im somewhat sugar adverse so I dont have opinions on the cupcakes.

Wow! I’m so happy I stopped in, I got a latte, a cupcake and turkey sandwich! So very delicious! The sandwich is just perfect, the atmosphere is very welcoming and homey, and the ladies that work here are so sweet. I feel like I could spend a lot of time here. Definitely coming back. Thankyou so much for a fabulous experience

Instead of a hi, I was asked it this order was to go. I didn’t feel my blackness was welcomed but I wanted to try their selection so I endured the service.
The cupcake case had a lady bug in it flying around inside with the cupcakes. They are good luck so I proceeded with my purchase. Mistake; flavorless pink cupcake, peanut butter cookie is horrible and cant taste the peanut butter and she used her bare hands to serve my cupcake and put the sprinkles on top. There were gloves but she didn’t use them.
Better customer service is needed from the blonde haired lady and respect. I support small business, women business not just black business but this bothers me because I have waited so long to support and this is what I get. Well wishes on the improvements and much success to the demographic you are trying to reach.

Love this place! The cupcakes were so most and delicious, and the atomsphere highlights a familial hearth with the warm furniture, yet soft decor. It’s also very cheap compared to the average coffee store and the cupcakes are all very solid, very worth every buck you spend on it!
It’s super reminiscent of those small cafes you would find New York City, and visit for quick small treats like these.
I got “The Ballerina” which can be dauntingly sweet, however coupled with the coffee it all balanced out. I give them 3.5/5 seperately, but a 5/5 all together.
Staff was super nice and place was so cozy. I recommend this to all cupcake lovers and those in Renton looking for a more antique, vintage decorated coffee shop that will truly bring you a piece reminiscent of your home as well.
If Boona Boona and Refuel Cafe has some of the best coffee in Renton, I’d say this place has some of the best cupcakes!! Love the plants by the way! And it is definitely one of the cheaper coffee stores in Renton as well.

It isn’t often (and understandably so, considering we’re in an endemic and there’s war etc), that you see business owners who genuinely enjoy what they do. This coffee shop doesn’t just warm you, it’s very cozy and warm feeling because of the owners. It’s hard to describe, but upon entering I felt welcomed like I was visiting someone’s home.
They have a limited but pretty good breakfast menu. Their breakfast sandwiches can be served on English muffins OR bagels, which is neat.
Their coffee is really good. They use Caffé D’arte, which if you don’t know, has some of the best coffee beans (imo).
Recommendation: try their seasonal specials. They have a raspberry mocha that my husband ordered and made me jealous.
They are AAPI owned and support Pride (and this review was written in June), which is another reason to consider stopping by to support them.

A very warm welcome as soon as I walked in. The passion fruit citrus spritzer was delicious! Not too sweet and very refreshing.
