Common Good is a cocktail house in the heart of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. We make modern, classic, upscale, seasonal and sometimes whimsical cocktails using fun techniques in a beautiful but low-key, friendly environment. We want to make the best cocktails you’ve ever tasted. But, most of all, we want to create a space to celebrate life, from special occasions to day-to-day.

Stunningly delicious cocktails, with simple visuals and clean finishes. Arrive by 5pm or don’t expect to get a seat; this place FILLS UP. No reservations allowed. Incredible staff, fantastic mixologists. It’s a must for any cocktail enthusiast in the area.

Love this place! The staff are very accommodating and the drink list changes depending on the season. I recommend coming here with some friends or if you are having a date night. Only issue I have is that this location is tiny, so on the weekends you may not have anywhere to sit depending on what time you arrive. Otherwise, I plan on coming back for more hangouts!

I don’t have cocktails very often, so I can’t pretend to be an expert, but this place was fun. I particularly enjoyed my Tracksuit Pirates drink which was very fun, served in a glass shaped like a fish. The tropical escape from the cold and snow outside was welcome indeed.

Very nice place, you can really enjoy your drinks and have fun with whoever you are with. However, the service isn’t so good. The waitress continued to try to force us out of the place and didn’t let us split the check. Would recommend just be careful with who’s your waitress/waiter.

Highly recommend this cocktail house, the service was excellent, the staff were very knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving and made excellent suggestions. The owners were around and made the experience very delightful. The bartender custom made me a drink based on my preferences. It was a smaller bar but the atmosphere was fun. Prices were reasonable given the drinks they made.

My wife and I love going here. The cocktails are creative and delicious! Having gone to many cocktail focused bars in the city, this one is still by far our favorite. The atmosphere is light and fun. This place is #1 on our list of places to take visitors.

We had an absolute blast at Common Good. My friends and I were looking for a little spot to have a girls night and enjoy specialty cocktails and we found it! We went right at openning to ensure seating and snagged a window booth. The booth was clean and spacious enough for 3 to 4 people. Jonah was our mixologist and was a great help explaining the menu to us. One of my girlfriends does not drink alcohol and they had a menu of specialty mocktails for her to choose from. The drinks were fantastic and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning for my birthday to explore the menu further.
