Absolutely delicious breakfast. Ate the eggs Benedict last I came here. And brought my partner to try the breakfast croissant sandwich and breakfast tacos. They were great as well. Eggs Benedict is still the best thing I’ve had here so far.

This cake is incredibly rich, smooth, and silky, everything you want in a chocolate dessert. The ganache has a luxurious texture that melts beautifully, and the flavor is deep and satisfying without being too sweet. Truly a standout treat and one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve had!

The food was delicious but cold, and all different Temps. One item was not made well, burnt actually. I asked for a replacement and they made it right.
Why are we waiting for food, if it’s going to be cold? What’s happening in the kitchen?

To be a bakery at a medical center, it so weird that they do not have a proper plant based meal. All their products have animals or their secretions (milk and/or eggs), which are known to be detrimental to our health. I was able just to get hummus and a cauliflower, which I need to modify it to make it vegan. Please, start adding more cruelty-free and healthy options!

We are here twice in a one week trip to Houston. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food is excellent! The breakfast tacos are delicious. The kale salad with chicken was excellent and the club sandwich was great. I’d definitely come here again. The views aren’t much to speak of, but the food is excellent. If you are looking for a casual place, not too far from MD Anderson, don’t hesitate to try it!

I’ve been wanting to
dine here for sometime and finally did today and it did not disappoint! The shrimp & grits was incredible! From the presentation to the depth of flavor to the serving size…all of the stars. The environment and staff were also both so warm & welcoming. My latte was perfect as well, no burnt coffee or overly sweet! Definitely recommend and will be returning!

I love Common Bond but also learned to keep it to pastries and drinks (coffees, lattes, teas).
Ventured into on-breakfast territory and had their cheesy grits (nope nope). You can see the yellow, but there’s nothing cheesy. Wanted to ask for even milk to just juice it up a bit! That was not the business. Then they had shoestring fries, which i only orderedr bc i saw someone with it. And of course looked goood. But each fry was so tiny. Ended up using a fork bc it can only be eaten as a unch or else you’re feeding a baby.

Anyway like I said the breakfast is where it’s at for mee. The pistachio croissant!?! Heavenly.

This location seems to be older, I’m used to the newer locations so this location wasn’t as inspiring. And so cold – idk maybe it’s me. Anyways ample seating which is good.

Oh yes! The wifi doesn’t work! I kept getting kicked off!
No Bueno (or else it was just my laptop).
Overall spend: $18 | croissant (pictured), side of ‘cheesy’ grits, shoestring fries.

I love this place! Every time I come, it’s always so fun and exciting. The food is really yummy and things are well-made. This is also a great place to go study with great ambient lighting; however, please be aware that there are limited electric plug outlets. People from the Medical Center come here all the time. I highly recommend the bread.

Tried it today for the first time. It a small place but had plenty of seats and excellent service. My wife had the chicken salad croissant and I got the Cavatappi pasta. Both were delicious. The butter croissants are excellent, too. We picked up some pastries to take home. It’s a little more expensive but then it’s not fast food. Nothing fancy here; it’s a great place for lunch and/or a coffee.

We had a good breakfast here for 2 before heading to the hospital. We walked as this cafe was nearby to medical center. I enjoyed the shakshuka – the egg was runny and the pastry flaky – although it wasn’t super memorable. I liked the side salad too. Atmosphere is busy and bright, casual with indoor and outdoor seating. The pastries looked delicious!
