This place is awesome! I have been a long time fan of Tommy’s on West Thomas in Hammond (and you should try them too if you haven’t already) but Commodore’s is a worthy competitor and very competent pizzeria, I went on a Saturday and they just so happened to have a special featuring a large pizza with two toppings for $11 (Sat./Sun.). I ordered a pepperoni with italian sausage pizza and was truly impressed! It did take about 20-25 minutes for the pizza to arrive and when it did all I could think was that it was worth the wait, they have ample seating, the wait staff were very efficient and friendly, I am definitely going back!

I’ve been looking for a place where I could get a good gluten free (Celiac, not diet preference) pizza that didn’t taste like cardboard. This place delivered that and then some. The staff was super friendly.

This place is literally always poppin’… and for good reason. Their food is amazing, delicious, always hot, and they have so many different choices to choose from. We always get the Godfather pizza with traditional sauce, hot wings, chicken parm, etc! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Ordered XL 2 topping thin crust pizza. Crust was not cooked in middle. Salad was very small with too many olives. Not enough lettuce. Very good dressing. Will only order 8″ with salad since I got more salad this way and pizza was cooked properly.

We were visiting Louisiana and wanted to go to a local “mom and pops” restaurant. We chose Commodore’s and could not have been more pleased. Everything was outstanding, from the service to the food to the value! The family owners and wait staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more hospitable. We will go out of our way to eat and visit there again!

The watriess was very nice, but they completely forgot my food. My whole family had eaten and had to leave before I got my small pizza. On top of waiting the crust was hard as a rock. I won’t be eating back there again.

BEST place in town to go to eat pizza and spaghetti ! Hands down excellent food and great service. We happen to come across this place and ever since that day, we have been coming here faithfully from Denham Springs about every other week because of how delicious the food is here. Always hot and fresh with the right amount of ingredients in it. Commodore’s has become our favorite place to eat at hands down!!! You can’t beat this place and not to mention the prices are incredibly reasonable. Very nice family friendly oriented place to visit. Highly recommend this place!

I’m first time customer; server McKenzie was spot on with her advice and very nice. Commodore Pizza is good pizza, and the closest I have had in South Louisiana to actual New York pizza. The traditional pizza sauce was excellent and the house salad was also good. Plus, all the employees were friendly. Great family atmosphere. Now, I understand why parking lot was packed. I will be going back for more.
