Great place to sit outside and have a drink while listening to live music. Love the atmosphere, and the service was good. The food was just ok. My wife’s stuffed potato was barely warm and gave her a stomachache. My bangers and mash entrée was ok. The bratwurst was good, but the mashed potatoes and peas were marginal. Neither entrée tasted made-to-order. While the dessert was good, the server told us it was not made in-house and came frozen. She just popped in the microwave. I would go back for drinks and music and pass on the food.

Great little place tucked away 1 block off of Hwy 79. Very spacious inside with great options for seating outside as well. Live music on the regular and a friendly staff. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff.
Pro’s of my food order-
Good sized burger that was seasoned well.
Draft beer selection was more than I expected
Con’s of my food order-
Chips were great size & fried perfectly but no salt or flavor at all (unlike my burger)
Raw red onion on burger when the menu stated caramelized onions
Order cheese extra but did not happen.
Love to have salt/pepper available
I will recommend, return & bring friends on my next trip.

Great nook with a LOT of character. Karaoke on Saturday nights and a decent selection of beer. They sometimes have local vendors sell goods which I think is pretty cool. Outdoor section is a massive yard for you and your friends to sprawl out.

This is a family owned and operated restaurant. They put every ounce of serving your family as they do their family. The generous food portions are created and cooked to make your dining experience memorable. The band that played the Saturday night we were there was very good. We played pool and had drinks after our dinner. It was busy but everyone seemed to really enjoy an atmosphere where you can bring your family and friends for a wonderful evening. I am from the Tyler area and I would recommend this place even if you have to drive a little to get there!

Stopped in with my man for lunch and it was delicious. The prices are great for the food to receive. He ordered the country fried steak and I had a chicken tender basket. We both enjoyed our meals and the lunch portion was more than enough. Would definitely come back. The atmosphere is neat and would like to come back on a Friday or Saturday night.

Visiting from San Antonio & we happened to find this place in the area. The staff was very friendly & their food was excellent. Make sure to try their fried green tomatoes, chicken fried chicken, mac & cheese, basically try everything! Would definitely visit this place again.

New to the area and wanted a cool local place to eat. This place did not disappoint. The staff was kind and the food was excellent. I got the chicken sandwich and wings. They were both delicious. The sandwich was also pretty big. The atmosphere was also neat. They have pool tables, a back room, clean bathrooms, and live music. You should give this place a try.

Quaint little joint under the bridge in Old Town Jacksonville, Tx. It’s been through numerous different owners over the years. It’s hard to give a decent review on this place because it’s been through so much. If we could just get an owner to come in and stay and stick with Jacksonville through the thick in through the thin, in sickness, and in health , it would be a lot better.
