Comixxpress was such a fun surprise. We popped in kind of on a whim, craving something quick and the place immediately caught our attention. The whole space is covered in comic book art, It honestly felt like stepping into a comic store. You can’t help but look around the whole time.
I ordered the Choriperro, which I thought was just gonna be a Colombian-style hot dog, but it turned out to be a monster. The sausage had that nice grilled flavor, super juicy and then it was just piled with stuff, crispy fries, melted cheese, a mix of creamy sauces, and even pineapple. Every bite was amazing, salty, creamy, a little sweet, a little spicy. It definitely was a mess, but it was worth it.
We didn’t wait long, maybe 5 minutes after ordering, and the girl at the counter was friendly. The place was small but didn’t feel cramped. If you’re curious about Colombian street food, definitely try it out. And get the Choriperro. It’s messy, delicious, and worth it.

To start I love food and differ cultures and have traveled a good bit. So when I say they have some of the most delicious and wonderful food I’ve ever tasted I’m not kidding. Do not walk RUN to try this place. I tried a wide range of their options and everything was hands down delicious.

Wanted a quick lunch near Sports Event. Driving by and this looked like a place for lunch. Stools at window counter which was fine for us. No tables but nice looking out the street
We ordered empanadas, beef and cheese. Also Bandeja Trad PAISA. This was a platter with many different types of meat, pork, beef, etc. also had a plantain, avocado, fried egg, beans, and some things that I can’t name but were delicious!
To drink I had a fresh mango drink. Very satisfying.
All in all, I’d give this place a 10+ well prepared tasty meal.

Atmosphere was good its comics themed. The service was amazing everyone was very nice. Food was delicious as well. I had the Colombian burger it was huge and very tasty. Empanadas were on the smaller size but well stuffed and delicious. Hot dog (Colombian Style) was huge and tasty. Overall I enjoyed my food. My only complaint is that theres no prices listed on the menus. As a customer thats very off puting and suspicious. There should be prices on the menu and for items that vary daily on price put it as MP(Market Price).

The food was so good! I had the churrasco montañera and I could only finish about 50% of it! So good. Everything was seasoned perfectly! My friend has the Arepa de asada and she said it was the best arepa she ever had! Very budget friendly for the portion sizes and such good service! If you’re in the fence give this spot a try!

Food was amazing!! it reminded me of my moms cooking at home so it’s nice to know I can get it anytime I want!! the customer service was great too the overall atmosphere was friendly and lively which is nice as for the food we tried the Columbian plate, the chicken and cheese empanadas, and the papa rellenas that was stuffed with chicken and egg. I definitely recommend trying all of it if it’s your first time you won’t regret it!! Also they have a secret sauce that goes good with the food too don’t forget that when there lol
