This place truly lives up to the feeling of home! It’s a warm, family-owned café that instantly wraps you in comfort the moment you walk in. The vibe is so positive and welcoming that it genuinely feels like you’re arriving at your family’s vacation home—relaxed, happy, and completely at ease.

The owners make the experience even more special. They greet you with the warmest smiles and treat you with a kindness that feels so genuine. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every single thing I ordered was so delicious that I kept trying to pick a favorite, but honestly… everything became my favorite.

What I ordered:
* Sugar Cookie Latte
* Caramel Macchiato
* Hoboken No Joking
* Crispy Artichoke Toast
* Loaded Breakfast Potatoes
* Daily Scramble
* Crumb Cake

I loved every dish and every moment spent here. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home and serves amazing food, I highly recommend visiting them!

Edit to add:
We came back today because I really wanted to try more since last time everything was delicious. And they nailed it!
My husband asked for tea again, and they gave him a delicious English breakfast bag.
Love to see a place that listens!
Highly recommend them!

Nice place! The staff was friendly, and the food was good.
It did take a bit to get checked up on, but it wasn’t that big of an issue. There were several kids and it was nice to see everyone was friendly and not bothered about them. Definitely kid friendly.
I guess my only real complaint would be that they served my husband Lipton tea. For such a cute and nice spot, we would’ve expected a better tea selection. When he asked for a second cup, they just filled it up with water which ended up being a watered down tea so he didn’t drink it.
Would love to see some better tea!

We will be back!

Such a perfect, quaint brunch experience on a cold day! The staff members are very friendly and the food/coffee was excellent. I’m gluten-free and our waitress was very accommodating. They offer a house made gluten-free bread that I really enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Everything at Comfort Kitchen feels so thoughtfully done and crafted. Even their potatoes stand out—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. The sourdough toast is incredible, with that perfect crunch and flavor. I ordered two lattes, and the marshmallow flavor is my favorite. The espresso is pulled beautifully by the team—smooth, rich, and never bitter. I absolutely love it here. You can tell the owner truly cares about every single detail, and it makes the whole experience special.

Want a wonderful alternative to your typical diner breakfast? Look no further than Comfort Kitchen Cafe. My wife found this cafe online as we were looking for different places to try in the area. It reminds us of some of the cafes we’ve been to in Vermont as they have dishes with some creative touches to their mixture of ingredients. Your typical diner omelets and egg sandwiches are not on the menu. What they do offer is a wide variety of meals that have a delightful mixture of ingredients that are very appealing to the palate. The plates were prepared with the freshest ingredients. The staff were very attentive and polite. The restaurant itself was very clean. Seating is limited with smaller tables. Don’t forget to grab some of the crumb cake or sourdough bread on the way out. We will definitely be back as every plate that was delivered to surrounding tables looked phenomenal.

I’ve been visiting this new café frequently, and it’s been a pleasure to watch it grow into a truly quality establishment. Taking over the former deli/pizza spot, this new kitchen has breathed fresh life into the space — both in atmosphere and offerings.

Their menu is a standout, featuring everything from fresh avocado toast on homemade sourdough to unique lunch sandwiches and daily specials that keep things exciting. Whether I stop in for a full breakfast or just a single espresso enjoyed outside on their cozy rocking chairs, I always leave satisfied.

What makes this place even more special is the warm, family-run feel. The staff — young, kind, and attentive — are clearly well-trained and genuinely welcoming. Their friendly service keeps me coming back time and time again.

It’s refreshing to have a spot like this in town. Great food, great coffee, and even better people. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet!

Very good breakfast, home fries were crispy and not soggy at all, sausage pancake was not overly burned as some places do and moist, scrambled eggs were properly done, good strong coffee, and nice pastries. Interior is unique, welcoming and nicely decorated. The young crew was handling the servicing in an efficient, friendly and attentive matter. A+!

I stopped here randomly and so glad I did. Everything was freshly made, including the bread! Patrick was my server while I sat outside and he was fantastic, he really made my hectic day so much better! Do not hesitate to get something from here. I will definitely be back and will make sure to take pictures of the food before I eat it !

Second BUT last time! The first time was in May & I had a delicious Crispy Chicken sandwich however the service was not welcoming or warm but since I was in a dark place personally I brushed it off to my inner turmoil. Today I decided to try again and not only was the service horrible the food did not come close to the $30 I spent.
I am a Latina woman and I hate to think that the way I was treated had to do with my race but it’s how I felt both times walking into this place. My experience was as follows…
I wanted to sit outside so my plan was to order at the counter and take it outside but I was told they would bring me a menu…ok! The menu was brought but that was the end of service as I waited about 15 minutes for someone to return…fine I’ll go in & order! The owner apologized & took my order…BLT w/ roast beef & cheddar cheese. I go back out…food comes, nice young man brings my food…sandwich has no bacon & dry (smidge of mayo) no 2 minute check…I served through college. I go back in…I get the look…the what now look…”there’s no bacon on my BLT” hand to her and walk out to my table. 2 minutes later it comes back to me with cold dry bacon that was just thrown on top, again not a single check in, until 30 minutes later to ask “would you like anything else” I’m guessing it’s time for the check to be dropped! It is. Go in pay and leave because although I bleed red & my money is green I feel very unwelcome. This is the point I dust off my sandals and never go back BUT not without speaking out on this horrible experience because NOBODY should be treated this way!!!

We had a great breakfast at Comfort Kitchen today. The food was very good and made with top-notch ingredients. I had the daily scramble, which came on a hearty slice of bread. The eggs were light with provolone and a mix of gourmet mushrooms that elevated the flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

The owners were beyond nice!
