I decided to try this cute spot that I had never heard of before – and also, what a cool name! The place is super cute and it’s cozy inside (very cozy- it’s very likely you’ll be seated right next to strangers- like a few inches next to). I’d be ok with all that but the food was so disappointing!!! We ordered two separate breakfast items and both lacked seasoning altogether. We didn’t even care to finish our plates. I was hoping to find a new brunch spot but sadly this is not it. 🙁

The food is great! The simple breakfast options reminds you of home cooking! Pancakes are perfect with real maple syrup to take it to the next level. Great cup of coffee to start the day! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Comfort & Floyd is one of the few places where I always try something different just because everything is so good!

Absolutely the best find by my boyfriend!
We were heading for the airport and needed to grab a quick bite. We landed at Comfort & Floyd – we were just staring around the tiny, unique and antique looking place. We are certainly intrigued. Since we are vegetarians, we wanted to see what they have – tried their blueberry cornmeal pancakes and LentilBerry Sandwich.
Both of them were excellent! The sandwich was really unique and very well put together.
Love it love it! Will be back

Really small joint so likely you’ll have to wait for a seat. No reservations.
It’s worth it though. The servers are friendly. Coffee was decent. Our group of 3 had 2x2x2 and biscuits and gravy. We got the potato side and cheesy grits. I really enjoyed the dishes. Perfect way to hang out indoors on a cold day. Good food, good service, and good company.

10/6/24. Went with my son for a terrific breakfast. We had the kielbasa omelet and we shared pancakes. I think Comfort and Floyd is one of the best breakfast places in the city. Our omelets were made to perfection. Sara and staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Get there early and you won’t have a long wait.
4/29/23. I have not been here in a long while, but the place is still really nice from what I remembered. We sat at the counter, and My daughter had the pancakes and my son the waffles. I had the kielbasa omelet and I must say it is one of the best omelets I ever had. The food was served hot, and everything is made to order. Look forward to returning. Thank you Sara, Julia and the wonderful people who cooked our food. Delicious!
A small, quaint place to have a very nice
breakfast or lunch. I had the 222, which is two eggs, two pancakes and 2 meats along with a cup of grits. Delicious! Recently visited Comfort & Floyd and wanted to add to my original review. The place gives you the sense of home. To me, it’s vintage decor is very comfortable! Sara, our server, so pleasant and accommodating. Love a place where your server fills your water without asking and asks if you would like more coffee. We had an awesome breakfast. My omelet was cooked perfectly, my husband’s pancakes filled the dish and the highlight…their homefries…I have to say, I think the best out of the many restaurants, I have been to. The potatoes were cooked just right, they were seasoned perfectly and the portion definitely feeds two people. Definitely a very nice place to have a great breakfast in a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Finally stopped by after meaning to come in forever. It is REALLY good. Got there at 9 on a Sunday and got the last table available. There was a wait after us, but people were willing to wait in 30 something degree weather, so that has to be a good sign, right? Food was simple and delicious. I had a BEC that comes with a tomato jam on the side. My lovely wife had a kielbasa and kraut omelette that I was pretty jealous of despite not really liking omelettes. Both came with home fries that are as good as everyone says. Wish the door closed on its own!

The food is incredible and soooo homemade (GET A BISCUIT). It’s so cute in there with all the little decorations and hanging plants. The wait time on weekends is hefty but that’s understandable and not on them. It’s small inside which makes everything more romantic and intimate! Amazing employees ⭐️

Sat outside for breakfast! Got here right when they opened on a Saturday and were seated right away. Inside is cute and small but definitely worth the wait if there is one.
Delicious cornmeal blueberry pancakes & chocolate chip banana pancakes! Both short stacks & got the 2/2/2 with scrambled eggs & sausage! Iced coffee was good & orange juice had a nice amount of pulp, so yummy. Can’t wait to come back to try more!

This little diner was quirky and good that translated to more than just their atmosphere. Even the food had some cool weird twist to it that worked. We got the scallion waffle and it was pretty good. The just like scaling pancakes they work well in a waffle and once combined witb their egg and hotsauce it all comes together pretty well. In addition to their plants and natural lighting, they had little touches like miniature artwork that added to the already nice atmosphere. I would recommend a reservation since we almost didnt get in before they closed and they werent able to grunte a seat even an hour before they closed. The staff was super friendly and we had dome good conversations about the pride event that just got done. Overall a great breakfast or lunch spot
