First originating in Newton, Comella’s became a family owned brand that began to share it’s food with many other communities. Delicious foods include the “messes,” a catering tray filled to the brim with pasta, meat, and served in a ‘Murican portions. Enough to save for meals for days.

Usually I go to the West Newton location, but they’re moving to a new location. This is my go to place for Italian food. Everything is good. Pizza is good. Friendly service. The most try dish is the mess. It’s amazing.

This place has great prices for great food. I ordered a calzone and it was just right not to oily, and not to dry. Anyone who has made a calzone knows how difficult that is to pull. It was also filling I didn’t eat lunch when I went there and I felt full. If I had lunch I probably would have half of it and saved the rest for later. Great service and I can’t find anything to complain about it

One of the best Pesto Chicken Cutlet with mozzarella cheese! Friendly and helpful staff(Taylor) was really nice and gave me options and asked each topping to be placed. And it’s done very nicely too!
