Comeback Tacos is my new favorite food truck in the Tallahassee Area. WOW. The service? 10/10, the food? 10/10! I’ve never reviewed a vibe, but the vibe here? 10/10. I ordered a quesadilla and my husband a chicken burrito and it’s the best we’ve had anywhere. If you’re in the Tallahahassee Area, you gotta try them out. My husband took a bite of his burrito before I took a pic, but the presentation is top tier.

We loved the Comeback Tacos delivery service! Dee’s cooking is so flavorful, all anyone could say was “this is the best quesadilla I’ve had”! Absolutely incredible tacos, from the best staff. I wanted to try out the $1 street tacos during the summer that I’ve seen signs for while driving through midtown every day, so I made my hubby bring me for lunch. Dee (owner) asked if it was our first time, and made us a free taco to try while we put in our order on the digital kiosk tablet thing. And it was good. Between the two of us, we ordered 8 tacos and 2 cokes, and it was only $18. The tacos were delicious, and the service was fast and over-the-top friendly. They’ve also made up a nice little area with picnic tables and umbrellas, so if you make it on a day it’s not raining, it’s a nice place to sit; plus, Dee even ran our food out to us when it was ready. We’ll definitely come back for tacos all summer long while they’re only $1, but we’ll continue to visit long after the summer, with food that good!!! ❤️ ❤️

I’m giving this place a one star because there isn’t an option for zero stars. I had a burrito from the location in college town and it was great, but I just left the Thomasville Rd location extremely disappointed. The burrito was full of just cold cheese, on top of the fact that the service wasn’t the best. The protein was nonexistent as we only had 3-4 pieces in each of our burritos. Highly DO NOT recommend this location… unless you just want cold, store bought items served. the side of queso was store bought – looked nothing like the picture and was a cheap scale version. mind you the queso was hotter than the burrito and its fillings. If you want a good burrito, go to the other location because this will bring you nothing disappointment. Comeback tacos aren’t worth coming back for unless you want it to come back up the wrong way.

Comeback Tacos is definitely the right name!! I definitely will come back. I travelled a little over an hour to try the food after reading Dee’s story online. Dee(owner) greeted us with a pleasant attitude and he even let us try a sample taco which was amazing!! It was a whole vibe!! The food, service, and atmosphere was everything and we’ll definitely visit again in the near future.

Atmosphere is a joke , right ? Million other places to park a food truck with a much better view if Google is worried about atmosphere.
For a 1st time visit.
Very disappointed.
Ordered simple Nachos , beef and all other toppings on the side.
The ground meat was sweet tasting which threw me off as very odd. Super greasy and mild temperature at best , to me it didn’t say fresh food.
The seasoning made absolutely zero sense and didn’t leave a mouth watering taste by a long shot.
Spent $16 for maybe 1 tiny scope of meat and 12 circle chips like a movie theater gives for their “nachos”
And what was supposed to be 3 street tacos also where made with the same barely warm at best sweet tasting mystery meat.
Needless to say , we won’t return.
Went down the street to El’ jaliscos for better food to handle the Mexican craving.
Bummer because I love food trucks over chain places. Oh well.

The food was AMAZING!!! So much flavor and a hefty portion. Worth the price because the meal and customer service is an experience in itself. Not only did we get a sample to try before we ordered, but the owner tipped a Doordash driver for his hard work- genuinely the kindest soul I’ve ever met!! Gonna have to force myself go not go back there every weekend
