We enjoyed a wonderful early dinner after 4pm! My daughter had the most delicious pizza and I had a fantastic corned beef sandwich. To top it off, Yuengling is on tap, which made the meal even better! We chose to sit at a high-top table and it offered a great view of the whole place. Waited 10 mins at the door never greeted. Asked the bartender if we just seat our self she said yes. Server never came to our table after 15 mins our party of 7 left and went down the road. As someone who works in the restaurant industry not even being addressed is unacceptable.

First time trying the Comeback Inn, and let’s just say we’ll be coming back in . My girl got the Black n Bleu burger minus the Bleu (she doesn’t eat cheese). I got the Highland Station sandwich, plus we got bread. Definitely try their bread.

I love fish and chips. I try them at restaurants assuming they’ll at least be edible but always hoping for enjoyable. I’ve had a range of them from 3-7/10 over the years. Comeback Inn blew away my expectations! They’ve replaced my reference (10/10) hand battered fresh cod fish and chips from 30 years ago as my new standard! The fish was fresh, the batter AND how it was cooked was perfect. I don’t know how it was this good, but it makes me sad that I live three hours away and won’t be able to “come back” anytime soon. The fries were great as well, my usual favorites are natural cut French fries but these large (steak?), seasoned fries were also better than most fries I’ve had and are now in my top three.
The service was great as well, one mature lady handled the whole bar of patrons. She was friendly, fast and efficient all while seeming calm and easygoing. The rest of the menu looked good, I was just in the mood for fish and chips that day. Boy, am I glad I was.

My wife and I came to the Comeback Inn after a google search for “fish and chips.”
We read the reviews and headed right over and we were not disappointed. In fact the fish and chips were great!!!
Each element on the plate was great. Of course the fish, but the coleslaw fries and tartar sauce were all delicious.
