Average for what I ordered which was boudain burger/ff’s and a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. Gumbo was good. It came with rice and tater salad. The burger was bland. I didn’t care for it. Only taste I got was a spicy bite at then end. Waitress was sweet and nice. She was working her butt off and my drink still needed a refill.

Just had lunch there today, and since I’m from out of town i wasn’t sure what to expect. The server was extra nice and the food came quick, and quite a bit of it too. All was delicious! The price was a bit high, but it was well worth it.

The food is okay….but it could be so much better ,if they cared to&had pride make it the”very best” tasting food they can make!…it’s okay but it “can be Great” with a bit of change….but what really needs attention is the “cleanliness of restaurant”…it needs a make over to refresh the looks of this interior decor…..it’s dark ,dirty and dusty ….and smells musty
It needs to be painted ,scrubbed down ,posibbly new floors ,new comfortable seats ,new drapes ,lighting and great southern decor but not too much of it ,simple but classy …and the outside some welcoming embellishments to say:. Welcome to our Great restaurant….with Great Food!! …and we have pride in the taste ,& looks of our food & affordablely priced for families,&we have the best food in town & in this Parish !!

Food was delicious. Establishment reminds me of the secret finds in old NYC. Even tho the decor was lacking, the homey atmosphere made up for lack of trendy furnishings. The servers were happy smiling generous people. Much to be said for feeling like u r at home. -RJW

Okay Cajun/American. I think this is just a local eatery bc it mostly had burgers and sandwiches, and just a few token cajun/creole dishes. The gumbo was darker but thinner (which is normal), rich with deep flavor but did not have a lot of meat. The Jumbalya was not much visually, but had awesome bits of heavily smoked beef and sausage. Mmm! I also sampled the smoked/mild bound in sausage, which had a great flavor too. I think they make and smoke their own there.

We always love the food but today our group was served 2 inedible salads.. dead brown lettuce..very disappointed…will not reorder salad here again.
