This place is excellent. We had 18 people in our party and everyone commented that their food was excellent. So much flavor and not drab. Service was excellent. My mushroom risotto with scallops and shrimp was so tasty. The brussel sprouts were not mushy so good paired with a cherry sauce.

Update: My wife & I have had 6 meals combined since the return of Brandon & 5 of the 6 were terrible! This place has had a continual revolving door of lousy kitchen staff for the last 4 years. We’ll give it another try in the winter and hopefully Brandon has cleaned out the current kitchen staff & replaced them with people who actually know how to prepare good food.

Absolutely perfect. Had a phenomenal birthday dinner and delicious dessert for my birthday. Our appetizer, meal and dessert was blow my mind amazing.The service was above and beyond by our host, our server and the manager. We were seated quickly as the restaurant was fairly empty. Our server was attentive and nice. However, it took over an hour to get our food. We watched tray after tray of food be delivered to tables that were seated after us. Eventually, we asked them to bring out whatever they had ready for us so that we could start eating. Finally a few minutes we received all the meals. The food was ok but certainly not worth the wait. After we finished our meal, we were offered free desert instead of an apology or an explanation. We declined the desert and asked for a discount. We won’t be back.

Went on a Wednesday night when they have their Bistro special, a petite filet with a Hasselback potato and seasonal vegetables for $16. Waiter suggested upgrading to a “loaded” potato, which adds cheese, sour cream, and scallions. Upgrading costs $2. Husband ordered the ribeye. There was a significant delay in getting our food, attributed to “so many people ordering the special and it takes awhile.” When our food finally came, they had made another Bistro special for my husband instead of the ribeye, so he had to wait for a ribeye to be fixed while watching me eat my food. The potatoes were small and the additional toppings were in very small amounts. Did not seem to be $2 worth. The seasonal vegetables were sauteed or roasted zucchini slices with red bell pepper slices, which were good. When the ribeye came out it was also small, maybe 8 oz at most. Menu states 12oz for $37. He had the same potato with roasted asparagus. Our waiter served us the ooey gooey butter cake (STILL WARM!) with 2 scoops of huckleberry(?) ice cream, to make up for the wait. Really the desert was FABULOUS and did a lot to make up for the disappointing meal. It seemed that the restaurant is new and is still working out the kinks.

My wife and I frequented Combine Bar and Grill when they were in Davenport. The food was always good and the staff was amazing. I was disappointed when they closed, but was happy to discover that some of our favorite staff from the Davenport location were working at the East Moline location. We had brunch on Mother’s Day but we’re disappointed. The service we received from Brando was exceptional as it has always been, but the food did not live up to the standards were used to at the Davenport location. The chicken was terribly undercooked. Sad to say, we won’t go back.

The „Combine“ is a very nice place to have a dinner. The appetizers were amazing. The top recommendation is the chicken. Really delicious. A great choice of open wines. Huge parking space. I like it a lot.
