If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Me and my dad stopped in while visiting the area and were very impressed by the food as well as the service! We got the supreme nachos and the steak and cheese tacos and they were 10/10. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This may be the best hidden gem of a restaurant I have visited in years. Nestled in a little clutter of shops Comal stands out with wonderful food and an even more inviting staff. It is well worth stopping in for a meal.

Best salsa in Ruidoso. This was our second visit and the food was excellent again. We had chicken fajitas and Southwestern chicken. Their red sauce is so good and has a kick to it, and the green is also delicious. Friendly fast service. We missed out eating at this place for years because we kept coming at night and they are open mostly at lunch I believe. Ruidoso’s hidden secret!

Comal is always our first stop when we visit Ruidoso. It is a small family owned Mexican food restaurant. We love the chili relleno plate. I forgot to take a picture this time so I am including a picture from our last visit.

Super friendly staff and the food was delicious. Very well priced and great portions. We visited from Texas over New Years with a family of 7 and wished they were open more as the times we tried to go back, they were closed. Parking is tricky, but we still enjoyed walking the streets of Ruidoso.
