We had lunch here and it was fabulous! Our server was attentive and pleasant. The food was really good, with flavors and recipes unique to Comal. The verde sauce was especially unique and flavorful. They make their own chorizo and it is exceptional. I recommend trying it with the street taco so you can get the full flavor without too much interference. The menu said that each location has a unique menu so I’m looking forward to checking out both the Central Point and Phoenix locations in the near future.

The food is great, but for paying over 100$ for the two of us I expected less sass when I told the waitress I didn’t like the flavor of the wings, I’ve only done that about one other time in my whole life where I’ve tried a dish and wouldn’t eat it, so imagine my surprise when I tell the waitress when she asked why I set them off to the side that I didn’t like them, we didn’t even ask her to remove them but she did witch I found was nice but when she came back to the table she said “ yeah maybe next time you can ask for the sauce on the side to try before ordering” like uhm yeah I was thinking that too, secondly we didn’t even ask for them to be removed and had the total ready to pay before she took them off, I was nice about it too, but why come back and sass me about it? We won’t be back.

Until today, I had another favorite just down the street, but I’d say they have a contender! EXCELLENT food. SUPERB friendly service. HUGE perfectly spiced and cooked portions. Get the Queso, and ask for a straw. Get the Blackberry margarita. Have a birthday party here. Family friendly, kid friendly, party friendly. Leave a huge tip!

I wasn’t sure what to expect by just looking at the outside of the building, but once we got inside there’s a nice dining area with comfy booths, spaced well. Now the important part, food. Incredible, it was so so so good the salsa is well flavored with some nice roasted bits, the beans were great chips were fresh, tortillas were beautiful and fresh tasting, possibly homemade? (I didn’t ask) and the “Flavio’s Molcajete” freaking delicious, the fried icecream was perfect and the drinks were delicious with a solid pour, good prices too. Absolutely going back.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere! We really enjoyed our night out. The service was wonderful, the food was AMAZING and the drinks were fantastic. The queen flight of margaritas was so fun! The Molcajeta was by far the best we’ve ever had! Did I mention the corn and flour tortillas are house made? Definitely a new favorite!
