My favorite restaurant in Milpitas. The to-go portion is massive and quite delicious for both Pho and Com Tam (broken rice). The shredded pork skin is the real star, to be honest, it’s the only place I eat it because the smell and taste are so much better than anywhere else.
The staff are super friendly and efficient.

From presentation to flavor, this restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience. The com tam (broken rice) plates are beautifully arranged and packed with authentic Vietnamese flavors. The grilled pork chop is perfectly marinated and tender, the shredded pork skin (bì) is fresh and flavorful, and the steamed egg meatloaf (chả trứng) is deliciously savory with a light, fluffy texture.

Best restaurant in San Jose, good price n the food is awesome. We’re family of 5, ordered for 5 people (3 bowls of noodles n 2 plates noodles n rice) but only could finish for 3 bowls even we shared all , tried to finish but had to get a Togo box for the rest of 2 plates

I came to their grand opening and tried their beef com tam. It was so delicious I gave it a try because it was their grand opening and the restaurant before used to be Da Lat. they serve pho and com tam and some appetizers but the pho and rice plate are bomb! The cafe sua daddy is good too

I had a very disappointing experience at Com Tam Long Xuyen in Milpitas.
The banh khot was nothing like real banh khot – each piece was huge, soggy, not crispy at all, and lacked the richness or fragrance of coconut milk. Definitely not worth $16.99.
The #10 “house Special Beef Rib Rice” was also underwhelming. It came with just one small rib cut into three pieces, yet the price was $23.99.
On top of that, the staff said if we ordered 5 dishes, we would get one free item from the menu. My family chose the house special beef rib, but when we got home, we found they gave us pork ribs instead, with no pork skin or soup on the side. And they charge $0.50 for a box when I order take out.
Overall, the food, pricing, and service were very disappointing. I would not recommend this place and will never comeback.
