Came here for breakfast! I got the com ga (chicken and rice plate) and it was delicious. I loved the ginger they put in the fish sauce. The chicken was flavorful and not too salty or fatty. The broth was also delicious and I liked how light and flavorful it was. The main entrees are very reasonably priced but the side of young chicken eggs we got was overpriced ($15 ).
The Bun Mang Vit (bamboo duck noodle soup) and mien ga (chicken noodle soup) were also delicious. I liked the banana blossoms that came w the dish. Restaurant was clean and the service was fast.

We’re genuinely impressed with the cơm gà here. For real, the value is unmatched. The plate comes out looking fire and the taste backs it up 100 percent. The chicken is next level juicy, the kind that makes you stop mid bite because wow. The nước mắm is perfectly dialed in, flavorful, balanced, and exactly what you want drizzled over hot rice.
For $12.99, you’re getting a full and satisfying meal with soup and veggies, and it all feels way above its price point. It’s comfort, it’s quality, and it’s the spot you keep craving after you leave. We love it here and we’re absolutely coming back.

My family is a huge fan of com ga. It wasn’t part of our itinerary, but we had to make a pit stop. Of course, we ordered the cơm ga, banh canh fav bite and the banh xeo. Every dish was delicious, and the aunties were on point with their service, attentive, welcoming, and efficient. Definitely worth the stop.

Vietnamese chicken and rice shop situated on Bellaire next to Hong Kong city mall in Chinatown in a standalone building with ample parking. First time here and came around 1pm. Place was pretty packed but service was quick and prompt. Ordered the chicken and rice with the salad that was also accompanied with a soup with chicken innards. Pretty hardy meal at that price point and would definitely visit again.

Pretty good place for lunch. Quite famous for their “Bánh xèo” which has squid. I would prefer just pork and shrimp.
I would give a 5 star if the staff were not so loud during our visit.

As an American guy who is married into a Viet Family, I have a lot of respect for the culture and the people. I love the food and appreciate the love you guys put into it. And I have been buying food from you since you were at the other location next door. Tonight, however, it is upsetting to me to witness something incredibly troubling. The worker lady came to collect trash on tables and collectively gathered all the veggies that was already out and used on different tables and started walking back to the counter. She left the pile of used veggies on the counter and another worker casually walked by, got a plastic bag, dumped the used veggies back in and then shoved the bag into this fridge. That’s wrong in either side of the ocean, in any cultures. And since you are doing it out in the open so casually, you probably have been doing it for a long time. I was very disappointed to see that, and out of respect to the people you are serving, they deserve better. My suggestion would be to simply ask the patrons if they wanted the veggies since everything is so costly right now, rather than cutting costs by reusing something unsanitary. I support local restaurants by dining out and tipping every time even if the service was bad. I don’t want workers to bring home any less because it is hard work in the restaurant business. But I also think diners certainly don’t deserve this.

The restaurant could use improved airflow and better air circulation, particularly in winter, to address the persistent food smells and overall stuffiness.

I have eaten at the Cơm Gà Houston restaurant in Texas a few times in the past at an old location. They moved the restaurant to a new location, so my friend and I wanted to eat Cơm Gà at this new location. Their Cơm Gà was very tasty. I liked their rice because it had a coconut flavor. I also enjoyed their mixed fish sauce with chili, red pepper, and garlic. The service was very quick and efficient. The restaurant’s atmosphere is alright. The restaurant’s decoration is very simple.

We were here for the Com Ga, Vietnamese style Hainan chicken. It was pretty good judging from the standard in North America. But we have had better. The Banh Xeo was a big surprise! It was so huge and cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. It was so yummy and refreshing paired with all those leafy vegetables. A must try!
