Just tried Com Ga Houston under the new management and honestly the food quality is at its best right now. My fav dishes are the chicken rice and chicken salad, the chicken is super tender and very flavorful. Their dipping sauce is also phenomenal!
The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. Ms. Nhu always takes care of us whenever we come in. She’s very sweet and makes sure customers feel welcome. Definitely worth coming back!

Nhu and her associate were very kind. The vegetable, rice noodle and bean sprout spring rolls in rice paper with the peanut sauce were amazing. It was my first time trying Vietnamese food and I was pleasantly surprised. For all the vegetarian and vegan foodies, it will not disappoint. I actually heard myself saying, mm, mm, mm, while eating! The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Goodbye regular fried spring rolls! I will return for more delicious food.

Food was good. Make sure to call ahead if coming in after a big holiday as they my be out of menu items when you arrive. I came for the Curry Banh Mi but they were out, asked about the Bho Kho Banh Mi and they were out, asked for a Banh Uot and they were out. I settled for Com Ga special, it was OK just not filling, see the attached picture for portion size. Prices listed on the menu have not been updated, so when paying expect it to be more expensive. My plate in the picture cost $18.00. My wife’s bowl of Bun Bo Hue cost $18.00 also.
Update on Com Ga Houston:
My wife and I were invited for a soft re-opening and the difference was night and day. The original owner came up from Houston and she made the most delicious food. Prices also dropped by a lot and quality was amazingly fresh. I recommend trying the banh xeo, it was crispy and light with a side of vegetables that were authentic and full of flavor. This time they had the Bo Kho and it was to die for, with a side of bread and noodles. The broth was savory soaked up by the bread. Definitely will be back as this place is now a favorite for the best Vietnamese food in all of DFW.

I hadn’t been here in a long time, so I came back today and was pleasantly surprised. The original owner from Houston recently took over and reopened the restaurant. The duck soup and seafood pancake were amazing! I’m happy this place is back and I’ll be bringing my friends here again.

Com Ga Houston is under new management and are eager to share the upgraded experience. My husband and I came on a whim, randomly choosing the restaurant after a doctor’s appointment nearby.
Our previous Vietnamese restaurant experience is quite limited – we have only chosen pho or vermicelli bowls previously. Com Ga has a much more varied menu, and we opted for cabbage, banana flower and chicken salad, spring rolls, and a chicken noodle soup. Each item was prepared fresh and was delicious. The peanut sauce was the silkiest we have ever had, the soup broth quite flavorful, and everything was top notch.
The manager, Miss Nau, was quick to share how they are looking to upgrade the restaurant’s reputation, and pointed out the ice machine is now double filtered, glassware is new and clean, etc. We were given two Vietnamese coffees on the house to try, and they were thick, sweet and strong.
We enjoyed our experience and will come back.

Com Ga Houston is an absolute gem. If you go, you have to try the duck salad — Hien (Vincent) recommended it to us, and it was hands down one of the best dishes on the table. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, fresh, and incredibly delicious. You can tell it’s made with care.
They now have the new owner from the original Houston location, and the quality absolutely reflects that legacy. The food tastes authentic, consistent, and thoughtfully prepared.
Customer service was top-tier. Hien (Vincent) and Quynh Nhu went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They were warm and attentive. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they serve.
Highly recommend Com Ga Houston — great food, great people, and definitely worth coming back for.

Talked to the staff and they let us know that the original owner from houston purchased the location back and after a week of cleaning and prepping brought a team up from Houston including the chef. The food was so good and just like the locations in Houston we got lucky and came at a great time! We got the Com Ga , Pho Ga and Banh Xeo and it was delicious! We also got to try the duck and it was amazing! The sauce for the chicken is one of the best and I 100% recommend coming back to try this place again with the new management.
