We both had the famous 1905 salad and it was superb. My husband had the beef tips, I had the mahi-mahi, and we shared the bread pudding for dessert. We have been in the Tampa area for the last six days and have eaten out every day, and this was by far our best meal! We have also eaten at multiple Columbia locations and this one equals or surpasses them.
Our server, Anastasia, was delightful—friendly and so cute! She also provided excellence service.
The pitcher of Mojitos is a must, and the Huckleberry Martini is also delicious. Would highly recommend the black bean cakes and also the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The tomato salad is the best I’ve ever had, and we also love the churros!!!
This time, our server Ray took exceptionally great care of us. He was kind, great at what he does, and laughed with us!! And even helped us to bring a special treat back home for our grandma who spent every Tuesday afternoon at the Columbia during her Florida winters.
We are always impressed at the Columbia and can’t wait for our next visit!!!
The food here is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the 1905 Salad, but there’s more: my crusted Mahi Mahi was very enjoyable with the lemon sauce. However, I wished the hot sauce came out quicker. I also really enjoyed the Flan and Key Lime Pie. They were both very sweet. Overall, would absolutely recommend this! All Columbia locations are great.
Service was a bit slow. Again, it was a crowded holiday evening but there is no excuse that this restaurant, with the reputation it has in the Tampa area, cannot keep up with a busy night.
The food portions were large and the taste was good. Sadly the HOT leftovers were far better than the original offerings.
We were really looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving here and ended up leaving very disappointed. Not sure if we’ll try again, probably not, considering all the other Tampa restaurants to choose from.
For our entrées, I had the baked stuffed grouper, and my wife had the Lechón Asado “1905.” Both dishes were incredible. Mine was so good I cleaned the plate and even used the table bread to soak up every drop of the sauce. We shared a flan for dessert, which was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending.
What made the night truly memorable was our waiter, Edgar. He was personable, conversational, and genuinely kind. Since it was my first time dining here, his attention and thoughtful service made my birthday feel really special, and I appreciated that more than I can say.
The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a beautiful view of the Gulf that gave the evening an extra layer of charm. This is an excellent spot for celebrating a special occasion, and we will definitely be coming back.
