If you’re in Tampa, you absolutely have to experience Columbia Restaurant! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a beautiful piece of history. The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and full of authentic Spanish charm.
The food is simply outstanding. The 1905 Salad prepared tableside is a must — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The paella is cooked to perfection, packed with rich flavors and generous portions. Every dish tastes like it’s made with tradition and pride.
The service was just as impressive. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes you feel truly welcomed. You can tell they care about giving every guest an unforgettable experience.
Whether you’re celebrating something special or just enjoying a night out, Columbia in Tampa delivers on every level — food, service, and ambiance. Five stars all the way!
While we waited for our food, we were served slices of warm Cuban bread, which was a great start. We ordered empanadas and the Cuban sandwich, and everything tasted excellent. The empanadas were flavorful and fresh, and the Cuban sandwich was one of the best we’ve had — perfectly pressed and packed with flavor. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals.
We had a reservation for four and arrived on time. There was about a 15-minute wait before we were seated, but the staff was polite and communicative, so it wasn’t a big issue. The restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign.
After eating, we checked out the small gift shop, which had a fun selection of items and added to the overall experience. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, it was a great stop while exploring Ybor City. We’d definitely come back.
We also ordered the paella, a classic Spanish dish, which was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. For dessert, we enjoyed flan and chocolate chip banana bread pudding, both excellent. We finished the night with a cup of espresso, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend Columbia for both the food and the experience.
Although we didn’t have any reservations but they seated us quickly. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, and we enjoyed everything.
In short, this wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience! Highly recommended it!
Overall, I enjoyed the evening and am glad we went, but it wasn’t so good that I would go back. It was fun, but once you e seen the show it’s lost some appeal.
