I’ve been twice in the last 2 weeks. The first time was part of a large group. It took longer than estimated, and another group with one less person came in and was seated before us. They were not on the waiting list or had any reservation.The other thing that could have been done better was only one server was assigned to such a large group. She did her best, but the service experience would have been better if she had help.Also, as a note, gratuities are included in the check for large groups. The second time was just the two of us, and everything met our expectations.

We arrived right before closing but were seated kindly. Liz was our server and so kind and friendly despite our lateness. Food was yummy and we never felt rushed or anything. So glad this is in our area so we can return.

It’s very dusty and service has never been good for us on a weekday afternoon. It might be better on a busier night.
Otherwise, it’s just like everything else in Jeff City that’s been around for too long.
It’s drab, the food is tasteless, and anytime I go there, they’re always trying to do something to stay relevant that they won’t be doing next week. They’re only a staple because they’ve been around so long.
I don’t hardly ever see anyone in there younger and I am (which is not young) unless it’s a teenager that’s been dragged to lunch by their grandmother.
It is sad that they will eventually fade away because it has always been there, but I’m regularly disappointed here, and it just doesn’t meet my standard of a modern restaurant.

On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, we were seated in the bar area. Chase the bartender was our waiter. He was friendly and attentive. Our food was excellent. It is hard to decide what side to get because they are all so good. Best green beans in the area. Baked potatoes are also good. The hot rolls with honey are yummy.

This place by far outshines other comparable steakhouses. Menu options were as expected and the cost was reasonable for the items ordered by our party. We had a group of 5 with 1 child, with getting two appetizers in addition to our meals, or check came to just over $100.00. I highly recommend you visit!

Ate at Colton’s today. Service was good and quick. Food preparation sucks. Salad had large chunks of core from the head of lettuce so hard couldn’t hardly eat. Steak was like rubber. Need to take pride in preparing the food. May have to find new place to dine

Had a very decent dining experience at Colton’s in Jefferson City. The food was great. Wasn’t very crowded as everyone knows that’s ate there. It’s pretty expensive but the only problem I had was the only time I seen the waitress is when she took our order and when she brought our food and that was it!
