In town visiting and came across this spot on a Friday afternoon right before dinner.
My son and I walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Our greeter was also our server. He asked if we wanted peanuts and bread, in which, we said yes to both.
Peanuts fresh and salty and the bread was warm and soft. (delicious)
Food was delicious and fresh. Very satisfied with everything.

Stopped in today by a recommendation after a round of golf with the nicest couple. We’ve passed the place a few times on our travels and never stopped. Sad it took us so long. Our server was the sweetest young lady with the BEST sense of humor! Sky was her name if I remember correctly. Anyway, we had the onion blossom, think Outback but frankly better. It was not over seasoned and so yummy. Hubby had the chicken fried steak with a baked potato and mav and cheese, he enjoyed every bit plus the 6 rolls he had. I had the sirloin and fried shrimp with okra and ceasar salad. Though I like my okra crisper it was still good. Steak was more med rare than rare but very tender and the shrimp were hand battered, so dang good! We did not do dessert as we were stuffed and could barely eat our dinners. If we’re in the area we’ll definitely stop in again to try the distillery and grab another bite. If you have not been, don’t sleep on this spot!

My wife and I had never been to this Coltons. We were very glad we tried them. The service was first class. We both ordered sirloin. They were cooked just as we ordered them. My wife had a loaded baked sweet potato and I had fries. My wife loved the sweet potato and the fries I had were served fresh and hot. The bill was very reasonable. We will be going back.

This is the largest Coltons Steak House I have ever been to. The building is a massive timber framed structure has nice rock work it also has a brewery the equipment was very interesting they have a private dinning room up stairs. The food was good. The service was exalent. We do not live close and we’re traveling by would definitely go back if we were traveling by this restaurant agian.

They have an abundance of parking and a nice water backdrop coupled with outside seating for those times where you just want to be outside as you enjoy your meal. The inside was also inviting with large screen T.Vs, the distillery, and the separate retail store with their signature alcohol. The food was on point. Appetizers and entree were of proportionate sizes and the staff were all smiles and prompt with checking in on us. Keep up the excellent work Colton’s management and staff!

Usually colton’s is bearable, but this time was just laughable to say the least. Me and my husband decided to dine here for lunch and the experience was not the best. Our server seemed unprofessional, and did not ask to top off our drinks once. She also was very blunt with how she worded things. And, she forgot part of our order. Now secondly the food was terrible. My husbands steak was well done instead of medium rare, and my baked potato was cold and barely even cooked. I couldn’t even eat it. We keep giving this place tries again and again but I think we are throwing in the towel this time. I feel like the manager could be better at their job and set expectations with the servers, not just the hosts i saw her grilling.

Our first time to this restaurant. We went there for dinner and we’re from KC area. The building was extremely warm however it’s a big place. The service was excellent and our server was very attentive. Picture below is the chicken fried steak with green beans. The chicken fried steak was chewy and seemed old. We also ordered a 10z, medium well sirloin and it came out tough. Like a lower quality steak. The water tasted terrible. Not sure our family would go back.

First time here at this location and more than likely the last. We got our rolls, they were like a rock. Our fried pickles were overdone. My sautéed mushrooms were exceptionally chewy and tasted dirty and mind you I absolutely love mushrooms of any kind and there was some kind of weird earthy taste to my loaded chicken. Needless to say half of my meal or better was left on my plate and I was completely disgusted but hey congratulations at least you got the girls steak and ribs, right.

Food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the 12oz ribeye and 18oz t-bone and both were cooked to perfection and as tender as could be. Was able to pull the steak apart with my fingers. Will absolutely continue coming back for more! Only gave 4 stars because the entrance is difficult to see at night.

We spent our 14th wedding anniversary here this past Friday and it was our first time visiting! It was amazing! Food was incredible, service was outstanding, our waitress (Helena) was super sweet, and the view was gorgeous!! Thank you so much for the experience!! We will definitely be back!
