I absolutely love the Whiskey Society events at the Prescott Valley location. They do such a fantastic job making sure different bourbon / whiskey companies come every month and the chef does a great job creating a menu that pair well with the bourbon. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and how they make this event what it is. It truly is a one of a kind event at I look forward to every month!

Best smoked BBQ!!!! We had the meat sample platter and from my pictures it was sooo good I forgot to take pictures of the platter. It has a well portioned sample of all meats. Got a side of the smoked mac n cheese and coleslaw. The Mac and cheese is really good with the bacon bits and the coleslaw is done just right. The BBQ sauce bar is great all flavors. Not spicy at all I even tried the habanero sauce n it was not hot. The place has lots of seating but it fills up fast. In amd out is always busy but its well worth it. The cocktails are done well and worth the price. If you are in downtown Prescott you cant miss it you will smell the smoke but in a good way.

Walk by this restaurant and you’ll immediately smell why you should come in. The service is counter but still a cut above. The food tastes amazing. Price vs portion is definitely on the customers side. Especially for bbq. Go here and you won’t be disappointed. We also saw Jessica who I believe is the manager deal with an unruly customer. She was very professional and handled it well. I would hire her in a heartbeat. The food looks good but it tasted even better

We were exploring Whiskey Row and decided to try Colt BBQ for lunch because the smell from the meat cooking on their smokers was amazing. The setup is unique because you can order at the front desk, sit wherever you want and they will call your name when your food is ready or you can sit in the bar area for standard service. There is a large indoor seating area as well as outdoor seating with plenty of umbrellas for sun protection. They have a large bar serving beer and various cocktails. They also have a sauce bar with an assortment of homemade BBQ sauces. The Carolina Gold is a mustard type sauce which was sweet and tangy. Very unique and definitely my favorite! The classic mild sauce was also very good. I had the 1/2 grilled chicken which was smoked to perfection and then flash fried to give the skin a nice little crunch while keeping the inside nice and juicy. We also tried the ribs which were tender and flavorful. The cole slaw was very good and I also tried the cheddar jalapeño cornbread which was amazing! Extremely flavorful with the perfect amount of spice from the jalapeños mixed with the sweetness of the butter they serve with it. The wait staff was very friendly and took the time to chat with us and offer suggestions on the various sauces and menu items. All in all, this was a great spot for tasty BBQ.

The Colt Grill at the Prescott Valley was such a treasure to find! From the young man that was at the register when we first walked in, setting the tone of having an enjoyable meal! We decided to sit at the bar. Beth was the bartender and waited on tables in the bar area. She was so, so nice! She greeted us, let us know that she needed to help the table and then she’d be right back. Reading the menu, decided to order food as well. Beth’s customer service was top notch! The food was delicious! We will probably stop back in tomorrow before leaving town. The atmosphere was great, food was amazing. But everyone was on their A game as far as their customer service.

This is a great location in the heart of Prescott & since I have been to the location in Foley, Alabama, I had to come see if it was just as good. We were not disappointed. The food is on point at both locations! We love the variety of BBQ sauces & how good they all are!

I can not say enough about the staff & how friendly & accommodating they are! Get here early, though, as it does get busy at peak times!

If you are into BBQ, this is your place to go!

I found my new home… and it’s Colt Grill BBQ & Spirits.

We just got a little cabin up here in Prescott, so I’m officially a part-time mountain man now—and Colt Grill bbq is my new go to place for grub. I ordered the Philly with garlic butter fries (because why wouldn’t I), and my girl got the smoked turkey club it, did come with a full bottle of mayo in it so maybe ask for light mayo if you order that , but the mac & cheese could bring a grown man to tears. 3/4 slapped harder than expected

Now, I did make a rookie mistake at the bar. I Ordered a regular 805 like a chump… $6 for 16oz. Then I see this glorious 22oz mug you can buy for $14—first fill is FREE, and refills are only $7 forever after as long as you bring your mug. You mean I could’ve had a beer and a souvenir? Say less. I’m now emotionally attached to this mug.

The patio is the move—plenty of space, good vibes, and dogs welcome. I’ll be back, and next time I’m bringing friends, family, and probably some strangers too

Incredibly good BBQ! I went with the pulled pork sandwich and garlic fries. The garlic fries were loaded with real garlic and were so good. They do have GF options for buns so that was much appreciated. There were about 5 or 6 side BBQ sauces and each was delicious! The bartender was very friendly and pleasant and made a very good Prickly Pear Lemon Drop. Nothing short of 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hostess near the front door was not friendly she had a attitude problem…so decided to sit in the bar area. Was the right choice since Lynee was kind. The food is amazing everything is super sized the prices are good the service is remarkable. Also you can call ahead of time and see when live music is playing they haven’t some incredible artists!

The food is great here, the hamburger is perfectly cooked and some of the best meat I’ve had in a burger. The brisket here was also REALLY good too. Service is non-existent here. You order at the front and pay, You find your own seat and then you listen for your order number and go get your food. Prices are pretty reasonable here as well, especially for the kids They won’t go hungry. Avoid the French fries here though. It’s like they were double fried like an old batch recooked so totally overdone.
