I was pleasantly surprised by Colorado Dumplings, tucked away in Old Town Marketplace (332 Main Street) in Longmont. We went on a weekday afternoon, so there was no wait and the shared seating area was empty.
The dumplings are incredibly flavorful! They are served sitting on top of a thick, savory sauce that tastes almost like curry. It also comes with two side sauces to try: a red sauce similar to a spicy salsa with a nice kick, and a creamy peanut sauce with actual peanut pieces in it. Both sauces complement the dumplings perfectly.
We got an order of beef dumplings and an order of chicken. Each order comes with 10 dumplings, and the price is unbeatable at almost $1 per dumpling. They also have vegetable options available. The menu is simple and straightforward, offering canned sodas and bottled water, plus frozen dumplings you can buy to take home.
I will definitely be coming back. These dumplings are affordable, filling, and packed with flavor!

I got 2 orders, 1 order of chicken dumplings and 1 order of beef dumplings. They came in a big bowl of 10 pretty decent sized dumplings in a sauce, i think it was a curry sauce…it was really good regardless. The dumplings in just the sauce was good, but they also give you their Fire in the Hole Sauce and a peanut/soy sauce on the side. Both sauces paired very well with both types of dumplings. The owner was very nice and helpful since it was my first time there. Definitely a hidden gem, if you don’t look for it on Google you might not know it’s here. It’s inside the Old Town marketplace. If I’m back in the area I’ll definitely come back. Side note, there’s another small place right beside them called Abuelitas Empanada, try them out too!

This was the first place I went after flying in to Denver and it was so delicious. The dumpling shop is inside a building with other shops and restaurants. There is a shared dining area in the center. Service was friendly and the chicken dumplings were 10/10. They had a bit of a curry flavor and the peanut sauce that came with them was perfect.

Colorado Dumplings is a must do when in Longmont! It is inside of “Old Town Marketplace” on the first floor near the stairs. The dumplings are all made in house!!! They are so good!

So many dumplings in the world and I love them all! These from Colorado Dumplings are amazing. Really great tasting filling and the sauces I could drink. I tried the chicken dumplings and I want to try all of them now. Little businesses like this are what make Longmont so great!

Ordered takeout during restaurant week for the $10 beef/vegetable combo. (I’m not sure if this special was actually a unique deal, as they usually offer $10 dumpling trays and may do half orders.
The dish came with 5 beef dumplings and 5 vegan dumplings (since they were out of vegetable. note that the only difference is excluding butter). The veggie filling was delicious. The beef was fine but it had a bit of a strange chewy grainy texture. I also loved all of the sauces that came on the side (hot sauce, peanut sauce, and some cilantro curry?)
Overall I think they’re standard offering of $10 for 10 dumplings is a solid deal for the quality

I was finally able to enjoy the delicious dumplings! I had been wanting to try them and they really exceeded my expectations ( and my husbands who really enjoyed them also. It was fun sitting in the shared seating and supporting a new small business!! The service was excellent also and seemed like friendly , very nice guys!!
