We love grandpas/ Colorado curry. The staff creates a welcoming environment for families with young kids. It’s nice to have a variety of options for the whole family. My one kid can have a burger while the others have breakfast. Mom/dad can have Indian food. I highly recommend checking out and supporting a great local business.

WOW! My to-go experience with Colorado Curry (Berthoud) was wonderful and then some! We placed an online order around 7:30pm, and it was ready for pick up inside Grandpa’s Cafe merely 15-20 minutes later. I was able to pick it up quickly and also have a lovely exchange of words with the staff before heading home to enjoy the pleasantly aromatic food. All of it was unquestionably delicious and felt authentic. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, and the chicken saag. The basmati rice that comes with all of the entrées is light and fluffy just the way it’s supposed to be.
My absolute favorite dish is the chicken tikka masala. It’s a creamy tomato-based curry that is extremely rich and luscious. I opted for extra cream and I definitely recommend doing the same if your stomach can handle both the spice and the dairy. The chicken saag comes in at a close second; it had a lovely, delicate fragrance and tasted phenomenal. It’s a healthy chicken and spinach curry that’s mouthwatering due to the flavor bomb of spices it provides. Last, but certainly not least, the chicken vindaloo contains intensely spiced chicken with potatoes, herbs, and spices. The divine tangy sauce that it all sits in has plenty of bright, acidic, and vinegary notes. Each dish was uniquely brilliant – my mouth is salivating just from writing this review.
The portions are much bigger than other restaurants. Initially, I was wary of their price being a dollar or two more than other restaurants, but now I can understand why! I’d say the price-to-portion ratio is reasonable. You get a hefty amount of protein as well as sauce in the entrées, plus massive portions of delightful basmati rice on the side.

Not sure how this place has raving reviews. Overall the food is very bland as mentioned by another recent reviewer. The naan is more like store bought pita, not traditional naan. And the saag is blended to a puree, not like the photo they have advertised.

Ordered food online 1 hour ago, all went through fine, but uber eats delivery showed up to a closed restaurant. Restaurant posted I will be refunded, but I spent 1 hour from order to wonder where my food was and uber eats sat outside the restaurant waiting for answers. That all needs improvement. We had no dinner!

Both the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tiki Massala were very good! I ordered medium on the spice and should have gone with hot. But everything was great!

Colorado curry was one of the best meals I have had. My husband and I ordered the Samosas as an app which were amazing. For entrees we ordered 3 because we couldn’t decide – everything looked so good. We got the Yellow Daal, Shrimp Biryani and the Butter Chicken. Everything was so flavorful and the service was stellar. Already looking forward to going back! Located inside of Grandpa’s.

Great place to get a variety of tasty curries in Northern Colorado. Almost didn’t see them since it’s inside of Grandpa’s Café. LOVED the saag paneer and chicken rogan josh. Medium spice was a nice amount of heat.

Bummed because I wanted a good local Indian food place. Got the chicken biryani and butter naan. Sadly, very very bland. Basically just tasted like rice with a lot of cumin.
