I totally recommend this place it was soooo good! .the service was brilliant amazing staff friendly, kind, and welcoming. The portions are very generous of great tasting food. My husband’s spaghetti and meatballs better than when I was on Rome! My burger was perfect and tastes amazing! I am grateful I have half left!!!! Great experience I even received a slice of cake on the house! I will be back Colony!

This is always my go-to area diner. I have been going here since the 90s. The food is always good and consistent. I usually enjoy breakfast food here. Also used to do the turkey burger deluxe with fries and onion rings. Always a win.
I really enjoy coming to breakfast. There is something about their pancakes that are eggy and moist. The syrup hits these just right. I usually get a scrambled egg with cheese and some hash browns. I have never been disappointed
The two brothers that own the place are always friendly and amazingly do not seem to forget a face.

I went with my kids to have dinner and I had been faced with a lot of upsetting things. First they serve me and my kids bad food and it had bugs in it. This is not worth the money or the wait or the time I had witnessed the hostess at the front desk harassing a young delivery driver that was just trying to do his job. He said the customer requested extra utensils and the host told him to get out and said “don’t tell me how to do my job your just a driver” just a driver is really rude and insulting. Everyone has a living to make but some people like to judge without knowing people or knowing the reason. Props to the teen for handling it right and left not causing any additional problems. I would never suggest coming here it is a waste of time can’t even have a good time with my kids because of the staff insulting teens and using foul language in front of my 8 year old. Please don’t waste your money and this place is not family friendly they just act professional for a tip…

My friend and I went together for brunch and it was great! The service was good and the staff was very friendly. Only complaint is that the prices are a little high for a diner.

Great food and service. I enjoyed the roadhouse sandwich and my wife enjoyed the tuna melt. We appreciated the special kids cup, coloring kit, and large kids menu selection at an affordable price. They also macgyvered a tray stand to mount our newborn bassinet to next to our table. I wish we had this in queens! (We instead have a far more mediocre diner which I won’t name.)

Great service, large portions. Right near Eisenhower Park. I see a lot of 1 star reviews and after eating here, I call BS on them. We were greeted kindly as we came in and the waitress passed our table a few times asking if everything was OK. This was our first time here as we went to Eisenhower park and gave it a try. No regrets.

Great dinner. The food was great, the portions were very decent (I took food home and rarely do) and the food itself came out quick. The service was also good, the waiter checked in a few times and made sure we were taken care of. The prices are on par with every other diner on Long Island. The diner itself was very clean and well taken care of. I look forward to coming back soon.

I’ve always found Diner food extremely delicious. Colony Diner exceeded expectations. Wonderful dining experience with friendly, quick and efficient staff. Extremely clean dining area and restrooms. Portions are huge and very satisfying. This brought back pleasant memories of my childhood Diners. I have eaten breakfast worldwide and nothing comes close to our New York Diners.
