The real standouts were the bartender and waitress. Service was excellent.
The food was hit or miss. The crab legs and stuffed mushrooms were genuinely delicious. The prime rib appears to be pre-made, served in chunks in a buffet pan. Once salted, it’s decent, but nothing special.
The lobster claws and cold shrimp were severely overcooked to the point of being rubbery, and the shrimp were not deveined.
Would I drive 90 minutes to eat here again? No.

Will not be back! Food was actually cold – eggs, sausage, shrimp, stuffing, bacon and French toast was hard and cold. In case they don’t know it should be a minimum of 140, makes me wonder if anyone has a license to serve. We had reservations and the hostess made us wait with well over half the tables empty. waitress rude taking plates from you while still eating. They were not busy-only 9 tables being used- but rushed you. Not a very friendly or inviting atmosphere. Temp your food and if cold it shouldn’t be served! But the cheesecake was awesome!

My sister and I planned to come here for over a month. I made a reservation for 3 for Saturday (11/16) and we drove an hour one way. We arrived and I checked in. I went up to the bar and ordered myself a screw driver, my husband a SunDrop and my sister an ice water. The bartender was very short and rude, I understand the place was jam packed, but handle yourself better. The screw driver was absolutely the worst one I’ve ever had. The orange juice was basically water died orange and the vodka was watery.
We were seated about a half hour later. There was zero rhyme or reason to get to the buffet. The prime rib was way over done and had zero flavor. Really, everything had zero flavor, minus the salad bar. The lobster claws and crab was over cooked.
The waitress was incredibly rude, came over to our table several times and scoffed “oh, you’re still eating”? We finished up and left.
World give this place 3/10 maybe 4/10. We won’t be back.

We got there an hour after they opened.we had reservations but still waited 1/2 hour even though not many tables were full. Almost all hot food was cold! Hostess was rude.way over staffed as employees just stood around. Eventually they figured out steam table wasn’t on and added hot water to it. We weren’t even near done eating ( waiting on food to warm up) and the bill was rudely dropped off almost as they wanted us to leave. We drove almost two hours you get there. We will not return

Food has no flavor, crab legs and lobster claws were so overcooked the shells were soft and rubbery, and I’ve never had chewy prime rib before. Congrats? The best thing on the buffet was the garlic potatoes. Our “waitress” was terrible. How this place has a higher than a 1 star rating is absolutely mind-boggling.

I’m not one to normally leave reviews, however my husband and I were really looking forward to dining at Colonial House Supper Club last Saturday. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. The bartender, who was shorter and quite loud, made the atmosphere uncomfortable from the start. She talked over everyone at the bar, was rather rude in her tone, and seemed more focused on chatting than tending to customers. Our mixed drinks were extremely strong, way too much alcohol, and it took far too long for her to come back and check on us.
When we went up to the buffet, most of the food was cold, which was disappointing considering the price and reputation of the place. To make things worse, I noticed the waitresses speaking very rudely to the young kids who were bussing tables. They were clearly working hard, but the way they were spoken to was unkind and inappropriate.
Overall, this visit left a bad impression. The food and service both need serious improvement, and I hope management takes a closer look at how staff are treating both guests and their younger employees.

My guy loved the fish and prime rib of Friday’s buffet. I found the food way too salty. We pointed out to our waitress the dessert was running low, she kept us updated. Eventually a pan of dessert came out without sprinkles, followed by another tray with sprinklers, but before I could get any another worker took the spinkled dessert back to the kitchen, probably to pace consumption. We had never been before and were unsure where the Garden room was located. Btw, the drinks were strong.

Service on point. Fast and attentive. Great selection on the buffet, none of those “filler” items that just sit there that nobody eats. Great atmosphere, bring the family or have a party. Will definitely come back.
