Colonial Grille is truly a gem for breakfast. I ordered the Hungry Fisherman—their Ahi Tuna breakfast—and it was absolutely outstanding. The tuna was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It’s easily the best breakfast I’ve ever had, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out.

Online vs in person is a bit misleading. The 3-4 page menu that drew us in to try was no where to be found, instead presented with a paper sheet printed daily. I can understand that times are tough and definitely want to support our small businesses, but this was a let down. Thankfully they had wings available (on Thursday) though the paper menu said they are only on Tues/Wed. Wings also broke while I was eating them leaving me with bone pieces in my mouth, but the sauce was good! Disappointed but still would come back!

I can’t attest to the food. We tried ordering from there twice. One time on a Saturday we called and we were told they reopened at 4. We tried calling a few times after 5 with no answer. Then we tried today before noon and the lady said we couldn’t get take out because the chefs were overwhelmed. I asked if there was a better time to call back. Then she said they didn’t have any chicken just breakfast and that they close at 1:30. She told me you can’t order chicken on the weekends. When I asked what days you can order she never gave me a straight answer.
The woman gave me every possible excuse. Needless to say will never try them again. We ordered from Mohan’s in Penn Hills. It is a little further but they were so much nicer.

Stopped in during the weekend for a family lunch. It was very good! We did come and have to wait for a few minutes, but it wasn’t long and it was well worth it. The nice hositess let us sit in the back by the bar to wait. Food was wonderful, and they have a variety of different options. Some of the family ordered breakfast, others ordered lunch. I really enjoy the blueberry pancakes! They were delicious! Would highly recommend!

Always awesome. Great food at reasonable prices. Their wings are the best! UPDATE: not as good as it use to be…went for wings on Irwins”s wing & chili thing…I was packed..but you couldn’t order food from the bar..even though it was their wing night..and bartender..gave us a sour beer in draft..even though..that was not what we ordered..sat at a table..no one ever cleaned off…i moved everything..over to the corner of the table…there was no garbage can ..even at the bar..to throw anything away…bad service..just took 1 star away..could have been an off night…and good help is hard to find….I would like to add an Update: went October 8th..2024..They have changed their hours..But the tap room is open till 8pm.. and you can get their amazing wings on Tuesday and Wednesday they are $1.09…and they have some great beers..

I’ve had many things on the menu! My favorite so far was the Steak salad! Probably one of the best ones I’ve had! It’s a 10/10 ❤️ their breakfast is really good too! My favorite is their bacon egg and cheese croissant, they have fantastic fries and hashbrowns. The pie they have is amazing. If I could give more stars I would! Favorite spot to eat in the area.
