Lived nearby for three years and it’s the first time trying this place. We ordered two chicken cheesesteaks. The flavors were delicious! I would get some more sauce next time (teriyaki & Guinness). The sandwiches are a bit on the smaller side but I would definitely order again!

Love this place. I’ve been going here for years. Food is terrific and they carry microbrews on tap (see Untapped for the list) in addition to standard beers. They also have a package goods section for take out. They have the best Reuben.

Love the atmosphere. The staff are amazing and the vibe is very relaxed. Always meeting new people and conversing. I order food for the first time (chicken parm with French fries) and it was delicious. Definitely one my new favorite local places to go

This no frills establishment has been in business for a very long while. They’ve never been voted best of anything, and that’s good, cause it keeps it quiet for the locals. George and family keep the good sandwiches fresh and you can always find your standard beers as well as some great rotating taps. Have an orange crush for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It tastes the same no matter the time… delicious.

The best local bar. period. Amazing food(bourbon glazed meatloaf, reuben and buffalo chicken cheesesteak), awesome draft list and the best bartenders. Cash only so just be aware of that prior, but they do have an ATM.

The Colonial Cafe is your quintessential long-standing neighborhood bar, which has stood the test of time…outliving many chain restaurants and bars in the area. The walls are plastered with vintage bar signs and relics of the bar’s past. They have a vast array of packaged goods for take out and you’ll always be served with great service from all the bartenders and cooks. The Colonial stocks a diverse variety of revolving draught beer choices you don’t often see anywhere else… like Rolling Rock and Miller High Life… my favorite. I love the great drink specials they offer as well… like this fresh watermelon crush made by one of the bartenders, Dino or the “hurricane shot”. My favorite is the fresh squeezed Orangle Stoli crush though. If you’re looking for a nostalgic hole in the wall with a friendly “Cheers” like vibe, The Colonial is it.

The food was good, make sure you specify if you want the sauce on your wings or on the side. There is table seating on the right and on the left when you enter. bar seats are in the middle. The bathrooms are on the left side of the bar past the tables on the left. The bathrooms are more like closets there is very little room and even less privacy so make sure you go before you get there or you’ll make friends very quickly.

This is a great small bar. All of the bartenders and cooks are really friendly and awesome. The food and drinks are great and good priced! Dino is on top of the drink specials! Definitely a great bar!

Went in bar was mostly full, but we got seats right away. Bartender greeted us as we sat down and we had drinks in a quick minute. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed people were talking and enjoying themselves. The bar looks great! Clean well lit and the food came out fast hot and fresh. Good time overall and we recommend the orange crush.
