Honestly one of the best cafes I’ve ever been too. Coffee was great, they do a seasonal menu on top of a stellar regular menu. The coffee flight was perfect for a little of this and a little of that. They have local art on the walls, separate rooms with tasteful movie art and even a record player! Shout out to Maria for making our experience so great!

Went there to grab a quick morning coffee. The cashier lady was so attentive and explained their latte selection in details and shared some recomandations as well. However the Barista was so busy talking to a guy and gave no interest about what she was doing. Overall experience was fine, but few areas to improve

I can’t give you my opinion of the food since I didn’t get food. I can tell you I love the atmosphere. I’ve thought about holding bible study here but it just hasn’t happened yet. There’s music but not overbearing. It’d say you hear people more than the music.

All the best things about small town coffee shops!!! I LOVED the creative latte options on the special menu. And the one I tried was amazing. The barista was so friendly made me want to stay all afternoon, but I had to run.

The cutest local spot coffee shop. It’s a hidden gem located on a small street of the Shops at Mill Race. In an old historic building with a front porch and multiple cozy rooms for seating. The coffee options are top notch and Mitch the owner is so great answering questions, giving suggestions, and customizing. Food options include bites and pastries. There’s books and games so it’s a wonderful hangout spot as well.

A year later-
I just want to update because i thought it was a fluke but its happened with multiple items. The pastries ive tried different ones and they are always so hard and dried out. The latest one i got which has lead me to write about it was the coffee cake, i thought it a safe bet as i really needed something to eat and i known i dont like the food here, unfortunately it was sooo hard like its vern sitting out forever and is old.

Coffee is still great theyve got really good flavors they change it up many times throughout the year so theres always something new to try.

The coffees are pretty creative and taste good. They don’t have alot of food options – the wraps were microwave frozen and $8 for a wrap – it forms taste good.

I’d go back for coffee however and to enjoy its location.

In this quaint little up and coming town, here’s the coolest coffee shop around. Edgey, casual kind of underground feel with unique coffee ensembles. Friendly proprietor. Local artist goods. LGBTQIA welcome. Come hang out.

Colonial Cafe has truly come a long way since it first opened. The Latte flavors are so interesting and fun. We love dropping by on lunch from the office. If you are walking the Mill Race Shops, you should drop by. You won’t regret it.

Such a cute place with super kind staff. Got a drip coffee and a bacon egg and cheese on a sunflower bagel that was delicious. There is some seating inside and outside where you can enjoy your meal. Can’t wait to come back!!
