Local place. Been going there for 20 years. And in those 20 years I can’t say anything has changed, and I mean nothing. Same tables, same paint, same signs, with the exception of taped on price changes. Pizza is good for the most part, but that depends on who’s behind the counter. They do have a really good vodka sauce, but the pizza is hit or miss. Sometimes its hot and cheesy, sometimes it’s as if they warmed up a pie someone forgot to pick up. And then there’s that same gentleman who has always been there, and who in 20 years has never had a smile or welcoming word. All of which you can look past for that occasional good pie. And let’s not forget the card swipe… You place your order, you go and pick up your order, you pay for the order and then helpers behind the counter spin the card swipe around for a tip, to which I hit skip, skip, skip.

Today was my very first visit to this place and will be last visit ever, because the pizza sucks. I’m direct and say what I think and feel, don’t bother coming here, it is horrible. Not only did the pizza suck, but they charged me $9 for a slice of pepperoni and a slice of margarita pie, which I could honestly say I would have been better off going to papa John’s or Dominoes, that is how crappy their pizza is.

Colonia Pizza is seriously underrated on Google—I have no idea why it doesn’t have way more reviews. This place deserves at least 200+ reviews with a solid 4–5 star rating, minimum. Out of all the pizza spots in Colonia, this is hands-down my first choice. Growing up in Brooklyn, I know good pizza when I taste it, and I can assure you their pizza is top notch.

A hair came out of the oregano shaker and I pointed it out but instead of getting a new slice for free to replace the slice I was charged for both slices. I mentioned it and was told that “ it’s not my fault” and he also said he doesn’t know if I put it on the slice myself

I go to the this pizzeria frequently and I must say that this time the experience has been horrible. Chef was cursing to himself because of an incident that took place earlier with some high school kids. Thank goodness I didn’t bring my kids in who are under 9 years old, I waited well over a half hour for a pie and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. On top of that when I got home the pizza wasn’t even cut correctly, I ordered a medium pie and it was cut into 4 slices ? Nice. This place has lost my business! Such a shame
