This place CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I travel 99% for business and have dined at many good restaurants during my travels. Before going to this restaurant, I’d never tried Columbian cuisine. After going to this place, I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was! The Chicharron, the empanadas and flan were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had other variations of these Latin dishes in the past, but never Columbian.

The reason why I’m giving them a low rating is because the menu for one had my meal for $25. They charged me $28 and didn’t say nothing that the prices changed on the menu. then she goes and doesn’t tell me that there’s an extra charge if you use the credit debit card and she said she had a sign but they took it down. but how do you not tell your customer that there’s an extra charge so my meal went 52+ tax went to 55 then it went to $58. I don’t mind paying money for food but don’t try to get over and be sneaky. nowIf they didn’t do that they would’ve got five stars the food was excellent.

I have to be honest when I say I am HIGHLY disappointed in what I received from this restaurant when I ordered through UberEats. My first time eating from this restaurant, and it’s Colombian, so imagine my excitement. The arepas were dry and tasteless. The pollo a la plancha tasted like pure plancha, no seasoning. Whatever this red sauce with scallions in it is? It tastes bad. It doesn’t go with the pollo at all. The rice was plain, and there was a random piece of corn in it. The beans were watery and tasteless. Everything lacked flavor, completely. My last hope was the caramel flan and that was about a 2/5. I didn’t even finish the order I spent $35 dollars for, with delivery tip. To the person cooking at this kitchen: My love… Are you even tasting the food before it goes out?? I wish I would get my money back, because honestly. This food was horrible, and I never bother to write a review on food or bad restaurants, but for $35 of my hard earned money to get THIS?? You can say I’m pretty upset about.

Second time visiting and the food is excellent. Ordered empanadas, chorizo, pan de bono w guava, and chicharron (fried pork)…food was flavorful and balance. The variety of sauces to accompany the food is superb. The place is small so I normally prefer a to go order and enjoy the food at home…with that said, they do have tables for onsite dining. Definitely recommend trying this one!
