Took my lady out for a bite and we decided to make a first visit to Collision Course in Westminster. Its located right on Main St Westminster in the center of town (Great Location).
The town still has the trees decorated for the Holiday and it looks gorgeous.
We started our meal with 2 apps, the Homemade Black Bean Salsa and Chips, and the Honey Jerk Cornbread.
The salsa was a nice touch to start and the cornbread was very tasty. Not to spicy.
We then split the Caribbean Grilled Shrimp and Mac Bowl. The shrimp were grilled perfect with a little pop in the bite and the seasoning was money. And in my mind you can’t go wrong with mac and cheese, ever.
We added two sides to sample…The Collard Greens, and the Apple Slaw.
The Greens alone will bring me back many times. The owner Tony is using his grandma’s receipt and they are FANTASTIC.
We sipped on a German Reisling and enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere. The upbeat music playing throughout was nice. We finished off the meal with the Banana Pudding Cheesecake drizzled with caramel. Yummmm.
Our server, Erica, was friendly and knowledgeable, offering her suggestions to us as first time visitors.
This is a HomeTown restaurant, with Hometown owners. We will be back, and you should come visit and tell them I sent you.

Food, service and atmosphere was great. I got fried shrimp, with Mac and cheese and hush puppies all was great. My dad got fish tacos with sweet potato fries and he gave it a 15/10 lol. Overall experience was great, Westminster needed soul food place. Love the r&b music that was playing. The only thing I would have liked was the full menu available. Dinner menu starts at 4pm. Will be coming back to try the dinner menu.

I had to go out to Westminster on Friday and decided to grab some dinner while I was out there. I found a soul food place on Google with great reviews, so I figured I’d give it a shot. We sat at the bar and I’m so glad we did because our bartender, I believe her name was Erica (I have a terrible memory), was awesome. We sat and had great conversation with her the entire time we were there, and the drinks were absolutely on point. I don’t remember the name of the drink that I got, but it was delicious and to my surprise it even came with rock candy, which I was ecstatic about because if you know me, I am all the way extra. We also had the Key lime margarita which was amazing and she even mixed up some peach cobbler drink that wasn’t even on the menu, but it was amazing. I didn’t get a picture of the drink menu unfortunately but the creativity that they put into the food, the drinks, the name, the atmosphere is just amazing. “Becky with the good hair” is probably my favorite drink on the menu just because of the name. We managed to get down most of the bbq chicken eggrolls, loaded sweet potato fries, honey jerk cornbread, and shrimp and grits and all of it was delicious!! We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner Ashley while we waited for our to go order of Mac & cheese, collard greens, cheese grits, and sweet potatoes, and this restaurant is totally a labor of love between her and her husband, Tony. If you love soul food, I highly recommend that you check out Collision Course, I am already planning on making my next trip back, and looking forward to it!

Everything about Collision Course was perfect. The wait staff, the food, the atmosphere all wonderful. During our first visit the owner came around and introduced himself. Very genuine conversation and he continued that genuine talk with every customer seated. I could tell he genuinely enjoyed the conversation as he engaged in personal conversation that let me know he remembered the customers from previous conversations and visits.
Both dishes were great! The chicken and waffles with the sauce…delicious. The Pop lock and drop it tacos…packed to the brim and also, delicious! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone. Several dishes I want to try so be on the lookout for more reviews.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The owner, Tony, is hands down one of the most talented, genuine, and caring people you’ll ever meet. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him, and it truly shows in everything he does. Not only does the food absolutely slap, but the atmosphere makes the experience even better. This place has been a huge blessing to the community. Keep up the amazing work!

We were finally able to visit Collision Course and we enjoyed our meals. I had the Moms Choice for dinner, which was blackened white fish with shrimp Parmesan dip on top and I replaced my side with the most amazing sweet potatoes. My wife had the Caribbean tacos and said they were good. Our friend had the chicken sandwich. There were so many things to choose from and it was tough making a decision so we’ll def be going back. I really want to try the Sunday brunch bc I’ve heard it’s amazing.

This restaurant is definitely a new Maryland favorite of mine. To start: The host was a very kind polite young man. The owner came over to introduce himself, told me about his family owned restaurant, and then gave me recommendations! The food came out i swear less than 10 minutes after ordering. It was AMAZING may I mention. Also I came during happy hour but the prices were hands down unbeatable. Two sliders and a full basket of nachos fries cost me $13. I ordered one of their signature moonshine (moonshine relaxer) it was to die for.

Came here on a Friday for lunch, asked the waitress for a suggestion for a drink, she recommended this purple drink which I cant remember what it was, but it was the best drink I ever had, so smooth and pretty too. Got the shrimp tacos with the carribean sauce, that was very tasty and delicious. Shrimp was large and they gave you plenty to fill your appetite. The restaurant has plenty of seating and we felt welcomed when the owner stopped by our table and chatted with us. Definitely will be back, thank you

Down south food meets north east taste buds! Tony and his wife worked tirelessly to create a very unique and flavorful menu that will shock your mouth! My wife and I make Collision Course a fairly frequent spot for our night out, and each time we are greeted like we’re family! The team works together each night to make sure everyone’s experience is great, from the food to the drinks! We love to taste the diverse menu and drinks, and nothing disappoints! Your taste buds will thank you for days and will have you coming back for more! We brought our daughter with us last night and had a great time, the team made us feel at home by interacting with her and making her laugh, which you don’t get anywhere but a family restaurant like this one. Highly recommend supporting this small but growing business!
