Collina’s Italian Cafe is one of those places where the staff truly makes you feel like family. Everyone was super nice, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself was clean and had a relaxed, casual atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy the meal.
The ingredients tasted fresh, and the food was delicious overall. The focaccia bread was excellent, especially paired with the fresh herb plate. My husband absolutely loved the French vanilla cheesecake, it was a standout for him.
The menu is solid and very similar to what you’d find at most commercial Italian restaurants. While everything was good, there wasn’t anything that really set it apart from others in the area. Adding a unique dish, maybe something like a branzino, could really help them stand out and draw even more customers.
Overall, a great experience with wonderful service and quality

I am a vegetarian and i was surprised to see a lot of vegetarian options in the menu. I really liked all the things i ordered. Staff were also polite and helpful. This place has a lot of seating space and free parking available.

Collina’s has been one of my favorite pizza spots in Houston for over 20 years. I always order the Z Special! It’s consistently excellent and never disappoints. A true classic that keeps me coming back

We have been going here for 10+ years. We had our worst pizza ever tonight. Edges (at least 1 inch) did not have any ingredients and a little overcooked. Since we had some place to be we did not send the pizza back. Asked to speak to the manager. Told him this was the worst tasting pizza we have ever had and showed him the edges of the crust. His reply was several people had complained about the pizzas this night. Time for us to find a better pizza joint.

Haven’t been here in about 15 years and decided to try it again and… Although not terrible, not great. I did Uber eats and unfortunately it was cold when it arrived and the ravioli was lacking flavor. So I threw some shredded Parmesan and cracked pepper on it and threw it in the oven on broil. The bread was good but the way they wrap it up in the foil while it’s hot makes it get soggy. So I threw that under the broiler as well. Salad was nothing great but wasn’t horrible. Probably won’t go here again unless I go in person, maybe it’ll be better….

I ordered the Spaghetti with meatballs, the price says $12.99 on here when I get there I was charged 16.23 the manager from the Richmond store said and took a picture. The in house menu the price is $14.99. Wow, I have had pizza before it was fantastic. But since this new system it doesn’t tell you about how many points you have or what the points is actually for. I think this a kool place but the google prices are wrong they say. That’s a false advertisement. This is 3rd time this has happened. I pay different prices for my pizza’s. Not a happy customer. If I ask you what comes with the spaghetti you say salad and breadsticks? What kind of salad a side salad or Caesar salad. Okay give me the Caesar with no croutons. I get there there’s a up charge for the Caesar, you being the New manager from another store. Should no better and explain that. Also my noodles to my spaghetti is cold with a Luke warm sauce. The breadsticks are Cold and tough. Cold dry meatballs. Wow nobody cares about the visual of food, the temperature of the food. Then I get pasta I didn’t ask for with the sauce. So please explain to me why I should go back! The New manager had an odor like he doesn’t wear deodorant. the smell was loud. They just lost me as a New customer. I’ll buy pizza from somewhere else. Never again. I first discovered the Richmond location with friends from First Colony Neighborhood. We drive alway across town to eat pizza. So when I discovered they have locations 5 minutes from I was happy what a disappointment.

I have been going to Collina’s since the late 90’s. The original location behind Memorial City Hospital was a nice place to go on a Friday night! The pizza is fantastic – top notch crust and great ingredients. The casual dining room is comfortable and a great setting for friends, business meetings and group events! Stop in today!

They are a delicious, pretty & well staffed restaurant. We love the Daily specials. They are on a chalk board as you enter. The food is carefully prepared. The staff will explain menu items. They glare a Houston & neighborhood favorite for a reason. They work for it. Our last meal here was quite delightful. We got a stuffed baked portobello mushroom appetizer. 10/10. We ordered the seafood pasta special. They can accommodate large groups. The appetizer was delicious thru dessert (Italian cream cake ) was so great. #Weeknights #lunch #group #date #seafood #Iocal #fresh #weekends #Business #lunch #Dinner #friendship #Pizza @Collinas Italian Cafe

Pizza toppings were good, but the dough was a little thick and doughy near the center. Lasagna was pretty good. It was fine overall but not sure if I would recommend.

I have always been a fan of collina’s but lately they have been disappointing when ordering takeout or delivery. When we’ve ordered for pickup, it seems like either it has already sat for a while before the set pick up time, or that they don’t start cooking it until you get there, regardless of the pickup time.
The portions have also seemed significantly smaller than when you dine in.
