This was our first time going to College Pizza, and happy to say that we will be going back soon! We ordered curbside delivery, and their time estimate for when it would be ready was accurate to the minute. Someone brought the pizza right out to our car which was so nice. We live right around the corner so it’s great to know there’s a local place that does great pizza (other than RR) in the neighborhood! Their large veggie pizza was loaded with toppings and super delicious. All the veggies tasted fresh. The only thing I could have liked to see is a bit more sauce, but the fresh chunked tomatoes hit the spot! Your recipe is on point! Thanks!

I called over the weekend for delivery to the hospital for a “pizza party” for a co-workers birthday. They normally don’t do delivery in the summer time, totally understandable, but since it was close by he agreed to deliver. Ozzie was supper accommodating and friendly. The bbq chicken and vegetarian pizza were great. I will definitely be going back.

Great food, great variety, awesome prices! Really good value at around $4-$7 for most sandwiches, burgers, etc. Beautiful view of the river as you eat, great music playing, and food is done quickly. Highly recommend!

Ordered delivery, first time eating from here, when I called ,I asked for the tzatziki sauce on the side was put on and the gyro meat was dry and hard, did not enjoy it at all,extremely disappointed, didn’t even really eat much, I had ordered 2 ,I said no tomatoes and there was some on one of them,had to pick them off… Will post pic later… That is burned and dry…. I was asked to send in an ema,did that and no response

Was honestly shocked by the quality of this pizza for the price. It is entirely worth it to order from them and their crust was charred and maintained shape without flopping. The workers were very nice and right when I arrived my order was ready. One of the better pizza places out there.Will definitely order from here again.

Ed and I ordered half cheese and half Buffalo chicken and mushroom pizza. It was perfect! This is my favorite pizza restaurant now! Everything was just great: Crust not too thin nor too thick… perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Thank you College Pizza. We will be back

I have been ordering from this place all summer. It is like eating from my own kitchen. All of the ingredients are of high quality and perfectly prepared. The people are fantastic and prices are well worth it. I will miss this place when I leave for the Winter! Also, I challenge you to find a better burger and fries! I literally feel bad for the people I see standing in line at Freds.

First time doing take out pizza here. Had a taste of the Buffalo Chicken Pizza when at a relative’s. Decided to order two pizzas for dinner for wife and I. Margherita Pizza had slices of fresh, sweet tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and basil. Also ordered the new to menu Pesto Chicken Pizza with grilled chicken, pesto, roasted peppers fresh garlic, mozzarella, and feta cheese. Both pizzas were very good. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu.

Dined in, had previously seen an eggplant parm pie advertised weeks ago, but it wasn’t on the menu any longer. I asked the server, and he was unfazed “yeah we could do that!” Great start with the positive attitude. Then, as we waited for the pie, he brought us out two small slivers of plain cheese pizza. Appetizer? Test run? Who knows, who cares IT WAS FANTASTIC.
There’s shaded patio paper plate dining, which is basic but nice. I mean it’s a pizza place, not a Michelin star. Soft drinks available by the bottle. Table service prompt, polite, attentive.
Then we got the pie we ordered. First thing, we ordered a small, but the pie we got probably could have fed 3 people pretty easily. Not complaining. The pie itself? FANTASTIC. I’m from New York, i like to think i know good pizza. This is GREAT pizza. It’s thin, folds well, crispy on the bottom, cheese is fully melted, comes out HOT, the proportions of cheese to sauce to dough are perfect, and even the eggplant parm on top was decent. Surprisingly, not awfully greasy either! And the crust was in that sweet spot where it’s thin enough to be crispy but still a defined crust from the rest of the pizza. It also wasn’t particularly wide, so i didn’t feel like i was eating a bread stick.
They give you the pie on the baking tray, on a little riser. It’s a nice way to present the food, and it keeps it up and out of the way so it doesn’t take up too much space on the table.
And since two grown adults couldn’t finish a SMALL pie, we were given a box for the remaining slices.
This place ticks all my boxes, I’m beyond satisfied and plan to return.

I’m a Pizza guy. I came from Miami and there I had a great pizza place where I went all the time. When I got here I tried a few places but I didn’t find a good pizza any where. Until one night I took my family out for a Italian Dinner at Sellfish in New London and seen a small little pizza place next-door. A couple of days later, my wife and I were driving by and we decided to stop in for a slice. That’s when I noticed I found a great pizza place. This place is called College pizza. I’m staying in Groton and I told the Owner I would go out of my way to stop there and get my pizza. And that is true I would because this is the best pizza around. The Shrimp Scampi is our go to pizza. We come often just for this pizza. It’s fresh, hot and so delicious. Definitely recommending this to everyone who listens! It’s a must visit!
