Such a fun place, love these historic bars in Wyoming’s small towns. Thursday’s during the summer is a great time to enjoy awesome food, live music, and beers.

From the swinging saloon doors and the moody, dim lights to the mounted taxidermy on the walls and the dark wood carved wooden bar back – this place gives pure Western dive bar atmosphere. Great drink prices, local craft brews on tap. Best bar food in town. The pick-3 appetizer sampler was delicious. Don’t miss the huge outdoor seating area.

What a gem. Such a cool place with cool history. The bartender was great and the beer was cheap ($3 domestic drafts and $4 craft drafts). We did not eat, but the bartender seemed to prepare the food with care. Definitely a place to check out if in Douglas.

We rolled in as tourists on a Thursday afternoon. Megan was bartending. She was great! She gave us a quick tour of the second floor and was so passionate about all the work Scott the owner had done. She provided some artifacts and stats about the happenings back when the bar opened in the early 1900s. Sorry we missed you, Scott! You’ve done a phenomenal job with the saloon! April and Pete.

This is one of my favorite spots in Douglas. Food is great, great selection of drinks and nonalcoholic options. The patio is wonderful! The upstairs has been restored to it’s glory, and a great place to host private events. The owners are active and always improving something because they have pride in Douglas and their bar. Absolutely must check out!

Howdy! Welcome to the College Inn Bar where the drinks are cheap and strong and the people are friendly! I came here while on a job in Douglas through a recommendation from a coworker and they did not disappoint. As mentioned before, the drinks are cheap and strong with really good bar food. They also have darts and pool if that’s your thing. I would definitely come back if I got some free time in Douglas.

Food was delicious again. Service was much better this night. The previous night service was rather slow and we kept waiting to see our waitress. Glad we came back and had a much better night.

I enjoyed the decorations for the holiday. The history of this building is fascinating. The food is always amazing whether you dine in or pick it up. Owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Willing to answer questions about the building.

An absolutely wonderful place to have a drink, have a meal, and have a good time! We had the street tacos and a wrap; both were tasty and the portions were generous. But the atmosphere and decor are just fabulous! The service was first rate. If you’re in Douglas, come here!

Arrived at 4:30! on Sunday June 30 Raining. Had two kids with us age 14. Were told we could not have these kids in this place because they were under 18. We are traveling from out of state. Been on the road all day. Apparently this is a state law. Staff was rude! “ you could go to the Depot if it’s open”. Of course it was not ! Very few options in this town on a Sunday. FoundThe Derby. Very nice. Great food. Interesting that you can bring kids in under 18 to a place with a casino but not a bar ! Humm. At any rate will not be back to The College Inn
