I was very excited to try this place when they moved to town, very nice familly and ambiance — very friendly and good people. Very accommodating and super friendly. We asked for some spicy sause and they didn’t have any but found some pickled jalapeño which hit the spot might I say. Really good food, fresh and homemade. They just had some baclava they finished preparing and let us try some! This could easily become a staple local spot.
Notes from a Gluten-Free:
I walked in and let the cashier know that I was gluten free, and they walked through the menu with me and pointed out all the items that were gluten free — there was a LOT of options which is good. Sometimes gyro has wheat it in too (from my experience if it’s frozen or prepped and ordered from store since it’s a filter) — however this Gyro was homemade and therefore wheat free which is awesome! Very rare to find.

I love the complementary bowl of chicken saffron soup you get while waiting for your order. The burgers are old school tasty and fries fresh and hot. The beef gyro was so filling i could barely finish it. I have been there twice and I will be back again.

I got a lamb gyro that was perfect! The lamb was tender and full of flavor, the pita was soft and almost gooey. I don’t know what seasoning they put on their fries, but its heavenly. I am so glad to have this restaurant in town!! Looking forward to trying all the different flavors they offer from various Middle Eastern regions!

Very mediocre! The soup was awful. The falafel were gross. The gyro was ok, rice was good and hummus was just OK! Overall very disappointed as we wanted a local delicious place.

We have been driving by this place patiently waiting for it to open as we love Middle Eastern food. The wait was worth it. Started with the lamb gyro and lamb gyro over fries, and had their baklava for dessert. We’ll be back to try everything else. So happy to have decent food in Colfax where the choices are limited at best.

This place is a must try if you live in Nevada City colfax grass valley or auburn. They serve delicious food and a great price. It must be on your list.
Had a combo gyro with fries. The fries were crispy with a delicious seasoned salt and fresh. The meat was tender seasoned well and topped with a creamy yogurt sauce which was tangy and herbaceous. With fresh lettuce and tomato. Really the best place I’ve been to in the area and would recommend it to anyone.
