If you are driving thru Jal New Mexico and want a nice place to sit down and eat. Then Cole’s Diner is the place to go. I loved the old school diner look and their service was great! I ordered the Ruben with tater tots. The only reason I gave the food three stars was the meat in the Ruben was overcooked.
I will be back next time and try their famous burgers and Blue Bell ice cream.

Im here visiting and this place is so dang good. This is by far the best cheeseburger I’ve eaten in a long time. It was big and juice. Patties seemed to be freshly made. Reasonably priced and serve is awesome. I will be back soon.

So I have never been to Jal, but z,was having to stay here because of a job. While here looking for something to eat, I came across this amazing place with a 1950s street diner vibe. After 5 days of eating from here, I have made it my mission to try everything on the menu. I must say this is one of the hidden gems around. Great service, great follow-through. The food is amazing; onion rings are just great. So if you are in Jal, stop by.

We had a Splish Splash Burger, The Rig sandwich, a cheeseburger, tots and onion rings and a veggie pizza. The pizza had great crust and lots of fresh veggies and we will definitely be back for more. The Rig sandwich had good flavor and nicely toasted bread. Onion rings were tasty. The burgers and tots were OK. The meat patties were thin and dry, but even with that the overall burger was still good. Friendly staff! By far the best restaurant in Jal.

Very pleasant little diner with friendly service. The diner is well maintained and the food is decent. We ordered the Rockin’ Robin burger, but the chicken fried steak looked really good. The onion rings must be exceptionally good because they sold out quickly.

Cute little boutique shop that offers heavenly confections such as cakes, pies, ice cream, milkshakes and a real food menu as well. I didn’t eat real food but the cupcake was good and the milkshake divine. There is a small section of local merch for purchase. And I do love that they are proud to include God in everything.

Everytime me and my husband went there to eat at 8:00pm after he got off work the ladies was so rude saying WE CLOSED! We went two nights in a row and both nights they was VERY RUDE!!!
