Colleen’s Kitchen in Brockport is a breakfast must. My son always orders the huge pancakes, my husband loved the hash, and the breakfast sandwich was fantastic. The one-woman show serves the best English muffins you’ll ever taste—so good you’ll want to bring some home. Great menu selection, unique, and unforgettable!

First I have to start by telling you about the English Muffins, because if you stop reading, it’s important that you know these are the best English Muffins you will ever taste. In fact, don’t even think of them as English Muffins because you are setting the bar too low. You absolutely must try them. They are to die for and will redefine what an English Muffin is in your mind.
I visited from Texas and I’ve been home for two weeks now, thinking about them multiple times a day. That’s not an exaggeration.
I went to Coleen’s Kitchen with my aunt and uncle, who live in Brockport and are regulars, and this place completely blew me away. Coleen runs the entire show single-handedly. She greets you, answers the phone, takes reservations, serves the food, picks up dishes, handles the bill, and cooks every meal herself. I can promise you’ve never seen anything like it.
The restaurant has its own personality. Coleen has a list of rules posted at every booth, which basically boil down to having common courtesy. You can even buy a t-shirt with her rules printed on it, which was a must-have souvenir for me. She pours her heart and soul into that place, and it shows.
The portions are generous and the food is incredible. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. I can’t wait to be back in Brockport so I can visit Coleen’s Kitchen again!

A wonderful little breakfast place owned operated and run all by Colleen. While the rules for her place are not what you would expect in a restaurant they are ones you assumed to be following when visiting your parents which makes for such a “going home to eat” feel to the place. You can really tell that she cares a great deal about the quality and taste of food. For example something as simple as just the ketchup on the table (Heinz Simply Recipe) shows just how much though amd care goes into her place and that her customers really enjoy the meal she made for you.

While visiting Brockport for the first time and staying for the week, spouse and I ordered breakfast at Coleen’s Kitchen. I’m not normally one for homefries as they’re always too thick and undercooked, but the Breakfast Poutine sounded too good to pass up. The description of the HF stated that they were unique. They did not disappoint! Sliced thin and cooked until tender, they were everything that I wish other homefries could be. Topped with cheese curds, eggs, and sausage laden gravy, they were the perfect meal to start a long day of seeing if Brockport was a village that I could call my next home. The homemade wheat toast was THICK and delicious. The blueberry pancakes? Absolutely loaded with blueberries. The prices were fair and portions more than generous. When I next come back to Brockport, Coleen’s will once again be a must stop. I’m looking forward to it already.

Generous portions and full of flavor breakfast! Was recommended this place as a reason to stay in town by the hotel clerk. I had the meat lover’s omelet. Coleen was not shy in her use of the ingredients. It was such a large serving that I didn’t bother with lunch. The homefries were sliced thin and cooked completely through. A welcome relief from the ones served elsewhere that are cooked on the outside and barely cooked in the middle. The blueberry pancakes were what pancakes hope to grow up and become. This was not just whole blueberries dunked in the middle of batter. It’d say that there was blueberry flavor throughout the batter. One whole pancake ended up being dinner that night. These things are the size of a frisbee. Bring your appetite or take it home to enjoy later.

Nice old school style diner that serves breakfast only, but man does Colleen have options. She is an amazing person and a great cook. Clean bathrooms. Good atmosphere. Just like being home and in mom’s kitchen. Amazing sausage and gravy over cheddar biscuits. Ginormous pancakes.

A great little diner! Coleen does everything herself – cooks, serves, cleans, etc. Our breakfast was fantastic with fresh ingredients and large portions. Like everything else, the bread for the toast is homemade. The blueberry pancake was bigger than the plate and loaded with fresh berries! As others have noted, she does have some “rules” posted. We knew this before we arrived and got a kick out of it. She reminds me of a really nice version of the “Soup Natzi” on Seinfeld. She chatted with us and she was kind and friendly. A super nice owner who cares about her business and her guests. Go have a meal here – you won’t regret it!

What can we say, you’re looking for homemade food made where breakfast is king, Colleen’s kitchen is the place to go! Just be sure to call ahead is there only open limited hours and they have quite the following. Will definitely return here time and time again now that we know about it. Highly recommended!!! They even were able to accommodate our German Shepherd service dog!

The best food & service in western NY. Coleen does it all, hostess, waitress, cook & bus. Each of her meals are scratch cooked. We love her rules, no swearing, no cell phone conversations & “be nice.” It’s like a meal with mom. We luv U Coleen.
