A quaint little hometown place to come get a sweet treat, especially on a 102° August afternoon in downtown Bridgeport. Friendly staff and great homemade ice cream options without artificial crap and fillers. Was a great experience, and plan to come back again many times in the future.

We wanted some good real ice cream, but there was nothing near us. Looking online, we found Cold Wave and called to ensure they were open. No one answered so just left a message. Shortly the wife of the owners called me back and let me know they were open but just very busy. Such a nice lady! So we rode our motorcycle from Dallas to Cold Wave for cone. The roads were hot, but by the first bite of my cone all the troubles melted away. Real ice cream. No preservatives. Just great flavor and memories. We talked with the owner while we enjoyed our treats and it made the trip even more memorable.
If you’re looking for great real ice cream made onsite, excellent service, and wonderful people, Cold Wave Creations is the place to go!

I actually live in Keller Texas but I was out this way because my niece was having a swim party and my daughter decided not to swim because she wasn’t feeling well so my brother told me about this little ice cream shop up the street from the pool and I’m glad he did I took my daughter here for an ice cream she got a waffle cone with a coconut it was delicious, I personally don’t eat ice cream but if I would have known the ice cream tasted that good I would have bought me one. This place is a must try if you’re in the area.
